Introduction

Well, hello! I created this blog to share some of my stories, ramble, and feed my SDV Harvey brainrot (it is really bad!). You can call me Nebraska, and my pronouns are she/her.

I haven't written fiction in a really long time (eight years, to be exact), and I have never written fanfiction before, so all of this is really new to me. I'm also not an English native speaker, so if my thoughts sometimes don't make sense, it's because they are not in Portuguese.

My stories, just as well as my blog, are +18, so minors do not interact.

Set in the Summer of Year Two, this is just a steamy one-shot that I wrote for fun as I'm still developing these two idiots as characters. A little sneak peak into their relationship.

A House in Pelican Town (WIP)

My main story, set in Year 3. I'm working on it, but, as I said before, I won't be able to do it properly as long as I have a degree and an internship to survive for another two or three months. So, for now, it's only character development that happens exclusively inside my head and writing some fucking random scenes and headcanons that I get to share with very few friends.

Playlist

All of my stories (and my life, honestly) have been deeply influenced by music, so I'm developing a playlist to go with my fic, and soon enough I'll post the link here. For now, what you should know is that everything about this story is heavily inspired by Ethel Cain's A House In Nebraska (like, everything, really. Just pay enough attention). If you get the vibes, you know we're not really light-hearted around here.

So I think I might’ve actually posted those first two comic pieces already but actually who cares I’ve got newish Willy/Marlon (lovingly ship named SwordFish by my friend Sunny everyone say THANK YOU SUNNY!) content to share with my people and so the two pages are getting lumped in!

All three pieces were made for server events and the first two were made in collaboration with, once again, my friend Sunny and Sunny has a really awesome thing coming up for these two goobers (EVERYONE SAY THANK YOU SUNNY AGAIN!) that may involve these pieces so. Y’know. Marketing. Genderqueers in Business or something

“characters in fic are too good at identifying scents” is officially an “his eyes did not literally darken” level of complaint to me now like it’s about the drama it’s about the romance it’s about atmosphere it’s about taking you to a heightened version of reality!!! please suspend your disbelief at least enough for vibes-based sensory descriptions it will be So Worth It i promise

did you guys know you can enjoy fiction even when you want to kill some of the characters with hammers on account of they are interesting and evocative characters that cause strong emotions and those strong emotions do not always need to be positive. crazy stuff

okay, so I may or may not have written 6k words of shameless smut on my favorite 4 pixel wet cat crippling anxiety of a man (I most definitely did) (it's harvey from sdv, obviously).

it's my first time writing (and publishing) fanfiction, and my comeback to writing fiction after 8 years. it's been a long time coming.

the scene I wrote is part of a longer story I've been working on for about a month now, but won't see the light of day at least until I graduate, so for now that's all the published material we have on these two idiots.
