Neena knew the town was littered with exes, one night stands, friends with benefits and everyone in between. Some she ended things on a good foot with, and some well... one ex called the cops on her for breaking and entering and that wasn't even the worst ex story she had. But Neena never let that stop her from parading around town or let it get in the way of going into places. As she entered the bar, she let out an involuntary small shiver. The bar was so warm compared to the winter chill outside and the sharp and sudden change made her shiver. Taking off her coat, she revealed a sparkly and feather number. Neena didn't believe in being overdressed, when every moment was an event why not dress up? Besides, fashion was meant to be fun, daring and above all memorable.

Scanning the bar, Neena looked for her friend but turned up empty. However, as she looked for the blonde she found a familiar figure at the bar. "Sam." She called out, a grin spreading on her lips. Neena waltzed over, hugging the man and sliding into the stool next to him. Sam happened to be one of her exes, but she thought they had ended things on a good note. After all, Sam was good friends with Evren. A fact she didn't learn until after she got to know Evren better. Though, as far as she could tell they could still be friends themselves. That wasn't naive. Right? "Hey, what are you doing here?"

Beyond the windows of a nearly vacant bar, lay the night in all its treacherous glory. Its dark firmament veiled the stars and the moon in a thick curtain of dark clouds and it looked like a heavy downpour might not take much longer to make itself known. His fingers were curled around the bottom of a glass, as he leaned with his elbows against the bar's wooden countertop. His posture was slouched, spoke of ubiquitous tiredness exceeding the physical. His eyelids fluttered shut as his mother's voice roared inside his forlorn mind.

A good man shouldn't be drinking, Samuel.

A good man shouldn't be drinking - so what did that make of him? A sip of the cold liquor ran down his throat, leaving a burning trail in its wake as the bar's entrance door was forced open and a gust of wind followed whoever stepped inside.

It took Sam a brief moment to turn around, his intrigue birthed only as he saw her. A drowsy smile began to coil up against his mouth, as he straightened his posture ever so slightly.

Neena was having fun. Though, there was rarely a party that Neena Wagner did not enjoy. Still, the drinks were flowing, people were complimenting her costume and petting her ego, and she was able to chat and dance and enjoy the energy of the room. So when she moved through the crowd to make a beeline for the DJ to see if she could bribe him to play Dance The Night so she could do the dance from Barbie, Neena bumped into a woman. "It's okay!" She laughed, turning her attention to the woman in front of her. Neena didn't recognize her, but that never stopped her from making new friends. "Hey! Do you think if I slip the DJ a fifty he'd be willing to play a song for me?" She asked, laughing and taking a sip of her drink to finish it off. God, she wanted to dance.

It was definitely feeling hot in the area of the country club where everyone was either dancing or playing games. Luciana found herself needing another drink. She left Owen's side and went to buy a water bottle when she spotted someone she knew, but didn't quite know at the same time: Evren's girlfriend, Neena. She had seen the woman with him at the wedding, but they didn't meet then. In fact, she skillfully avoided the woman the entire night. But now they were in the same room once again and she wondered if she could do the same thing. She moved throughout the crowd and got to the stand with the water, buying one. However whenever she turned around, she bumped right into the woman and blush came over her. "Excuse me. I'm sorry." She said and moved back a little, hoping she could just escape quick.

While Neena knew Lucy's name and plenty of other details about the woman, Neena didn't actually know what Lucy looked like. So she didn't recognize the woman in front of her as the ex and mother of her boyfriend's daughter. "I should!" She giggled a bit too loudly, excited as alcohol only boosted her mood. "Come with me!" She quickly grabbed the other girl's hand before she could protest and dragged her towards the dj booth. "You should dance with me! It's so fun, you've seen the movie right?"

Honestly, Lucy was surprised the woman didn't recognize her. Then again, she wasn't sure if Evren ever pointed her out or told the woman who she was. She was going to walk away when Neena said it was okay. Get out of there as quick as possible. Then she asked her a question and she shrugged. "I don't see the harm in trying, but you could just ask him, right?" @neenawagncr

Neena: Yeah, she's being weirdly adamant that I don't take Logan by myself. Which I don't get. I've babysat him and Zoe before and they both are still alive! I mean I know not to take him to a bar or party and not to leave him alone. Neena: But yeah, Stevie wants me to invite you to join us. Neena: Oh shut up 🙄 I guess a lot of people look responsible compared to me. Which is bullshit.

Evren: Your sister wants me to go to NYC with you and your nephew to see a Broadway show? Evren: I mean, sure, I'd love to, I'm just not sure when I became the responsible one in your family's eyes. 😉
