Out Of The Type Of Non Villain Characters That I See Get A Bunch Of Hate, Why Are They Almost Always
Out of the type of non villain characters that I see get a bunch of hate, why are they almost always the mentor character.
And it’s not only mentor characters that deserve the hate. I literally saw a tweet of someone trying to knock down Uncle Iroh while defending Azula.

The average overwatch member has 1 sister figure is a false statistic.
Cole Cassidy, who has all the sister figures, is an outlier and should NOT have been counted.
Argylle is absurd and a lot of fun but most of all it has my heart because it's a female-led action movie that let its main character have a love interest and didn't punish her by killing him or having him turn out to be evil so that they could have her "grow" and do it on her own. They just let them be partners and in love.
Because of the personality differences between Elly and Rachel, her relationship with Aidan is something between "a scared woman and her fearless guardian who gives her psychic support" and "a girlboss and malewife dynamic where they kick bad guys' asses together".
And you're telling me that's not original!? Oh, come on!
Finally, The shrimp fried the rice

Argylle is over the top but I fully believe if this movie came out in 2005 it would be considered a cult classic now that everybody would say "they don't make movies like this anymore"
Like that was just so much fun and twists and insanity and people are far too obsessed with realism over just having fun insane stories
