As you passed the bar, you couldn’t help but feel as though every person had their eyes on you. Secretly, you hoped they would approach you but after going to clubs recently, it wasn’t the norm. Only being open after the sun was long gone, the moon prominently shining as people were everywhere. Some innocently standing by the wall, taking in everything the same as yourself. The others knew exactly what they came for their eyes following every motion and flicker of movement, waiting to sink their claws into their prey. Smiling to yourself, your eyes skirted the rest of the space, couches and tea tables were placed for comfort in the corners. Leaving the middle for a space to get lost in the miasma, the fragrance of vanilla pulsing around Walking towards the middle, you started to sway gently before you felt a gentle tap on your shoulder. Turning your head, your eyes locked onto hazel irises as you stared at one another. Time seemed to stand still, his eyes never wavering from yours until his eyes darted to your neck. Breathing in deeply, you smiled, looking at his lips as you spoke.

“H-hi! Sorry I didn’t catch your name..” You gestured to him, your fingers waving in front of you as you trailed off.

“I’m—Dracula.” The man spoke, not once looking at your face as the words left his mouth. When he looked back up to your eyes, he couldn’t help but sniff the air, the sweet aroma wafting from your neck made you irresistible. Your warm blood pulsing through your veins was making it hard to come up with conversation to keep both of you talking, his eyes never drifting away from your eyes or neck for too long. Your eyes widened as the name made you curious. ‘Could he be..what I have yearned for?’

At the same time, you couldn’t help but lean closer. His warm breath heated your cheeks as a unique spice wafted close to your nose, invading your senses. The very essence of him had your heart pounding. Wanting desperately to know the reason why your body couldn’t seem to resist the incessant pull towards him. His beautiful hazel eyes turned dark, like a glass of the sweetest red wine as his hands reached up to your neck.

“It was strange, seeing you walk in. A drop of sun in the dark of the moon’s shadow.” His voice purred out as he looked at your face, admiring your features. His fingers touching your smooth skin as the pads of his fingers traced your pulse point. ‘He’s a vampire, a handsome one at that. Oh now I’m excited.’ You couldn’t move, paralyzed by the hold of this stranger’s effect on you. His nails scraped against the junct of your neck and collarbone and a bead of crimson sprung forth. His tongue darted from his lip and you mentally cursed yourself for finding it incredibly desirable. His finger snatched it up, gently rubbing the warm liquid in a pattern to your pulse point. Moving his hand to his own neck, he pressed the same pattern to his own skin, not a second more your body lurched forward.

Your hands reach up to touch his skin as your hips gently mingle, your fingers intertwined in his dark hair. His eyes leave your as his head dips down to your neck, his tongue slowly dragging against your pulse point. A whimper flies from your lips as you stand at the mercy of his tongue and his lips, so close to your sensitive skin. Your fingers gripped the material of his shirt, the union of his lips and tongue on your neck made it hard to remember to breathe. His hands were at his sides but your whimper brought the man’s arms to action, his fingers gently tracing over your arms landing on your hips. Swirling the tip of his tongue on the place he planned to sink his sharp teeth, he groaned very softly into your flesh, your sweet balm much stronger now that you were bonded together. A union of fervent passion and smoky desire that neither of you could now escape, not that he would want to.

“I won’t lie to you, this will hurt a bit.” In one fluid motion, he sunk his teeth into your skin. A strangled yelp flew from your lips as the sharp pain burned your skin, his warm lips and fingers the only thing grounding you. The club seemed so far away, the only thing you were thinking about was Dracula, his face nuzzled into your neck, drinking your sweet crimson life source. You assumed it was his fingers delicately placing his mark on you but you wanted to be devoured by him, his only solace and the only one that he could ever drink from. Forever his. His hips ground gently against yours as he continued to drink from you, a breathy moan coming from his throat, delighting in the taste of you. He had been alive for many years but you were something special.
