One thing I find weird about the mating bond acceptance is the fact that it’s literally such a casual act of kindness. Like, do you make sure that the person in front of you is not your mate before offering them food? Or can you accidentally get mated?🤣

Imagine if Feyre had just passed a piece of bread to Rhys utm because he couldn’t reach it and the bond snapped. Or let’s say Elain and Lucien are lost and Elain finds some food but she can’t give him the food so he just starves to death.
