Am I the only one that remembers Manny had a whole ass family that got killed in Ice Age 1? And that Sid, Diego, and Manny saved a baby. Like, did the creators forget that? Does that story line no longer exist? Why haven’t we seen humans in the other Ice Age movies? How come Manny doesn’t mention his old family to his new one? This isn’t talked about enough. I have so many questions. It’s obvious where my concerns™ are.

I’ve seen it pointed out that Godzilla’s spines seem flashing in a non-agressive manner during the submarine part of the trailer, almost as if attempting to communicate through radioluminescence.

Honestly, if they play it right, the acoustics devices they attempt to be using on the monsters could really play up the pathos and tragedy of them being the last of their kind rather than just cheesy science. It brings to mind a functionally extinct bird hearing recorded voices of its kind.

I could even see a scene where Mothra’s bioluminescence display is responded to by Godzilla with his fins, but made clear they aren’t understanding eachother but just happy to have a response.
