There’s only really one fic that actually explicitly tagged to be abt Cait and Red as a pair and it’s only Gen and platonic, but I really adored reading it: it’s ‘Meeting Behind Enemy Lines’ by BrownieFox and it really feels like it fleshes out how Red and Cait would interact and how Red would come to understand Cait’s existence,,,, if only there were more fics of those two 😭

I gave this a read, and oh my god. It is so good. I need more Cait and Nanaki content SO bad.

this is the funniest possible way for mb to interpret the secunit standing there watching it. babe it’s standing there watching you because 1) it was told to stand down and 2) you were the one who told it to stand down. also you gave it the code to free itself. it probably does want to be friends with you.
