The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that Farah and Alex don't know what happened in Las Almas and the 141.

Alex said, "Heard you died in a tank in South America."

-> He heard. He doesn't know the whole story about how he died or who supposedly killed him. It didn't even cross his mind that Graves personally knows the TF141.

"South America", Las Almas is in North America. That means what Alex heard is indeed just a rumor. He doesn't know how, who killed him, what happened, or anything. He and Farah don't know any specifics at all. Nada. It's possible that Farah had only just known Graves when he entered that room.

Now here's the kick : Look at Graves' and the Shadow's face + body language beside him as soon as Alex said it :

The More I Think About It, The More I'm Convinced That Farah And Alex Don't Know What Happened In Las

They were alert. The shadow behind Graves looks like he's ready to aim his weapon.

Graves then quickly settle it down by saying "Well I'm not in it." (As soon as Graves took control of the situation, the shadow behind him eased up a lil')

The More I Think About It, The More I'm Convinced That Farah And Alex Don't Know What Happened In Las

Then Graves asked :

The More I Think About It, The More I'm Convinced That Farah And Alex Don't Know What Happened In Las

THAT is Graves' way of finding out how far Alex knew about his death, or possibly what he did. At the same time, he's determining his attitude/approach towards them based on the answers that would be given.

Had they known that Graves massacred a whole town to find Ghost and Soap, that would for sure change his attitude towards Graves. There's no way in hell that they'd act so casual like in the cutscene if they know.

-> If Alex had shown any hostility or any sentence that implied anything about the Las Almas massacre, Farah would 1000% turn hostile and change her view towards the Shadow Company, and Graves might proceed with a different, possibly more violent approach, and the alliance would go poof with guns blazing. (Because come on. Farah's country was basically massacred by Barkov, same as what Graves did in Las Almas)

LUCKILY THOUGH, things went according to Graves' way. Farah cut the conversation short, saying that they have their own battles and have no time for rumors. The scenario went on, Farah and Alex continued to be oblivious about Graves' grave crimes (hah).

TF141 didn't have any convo about Shadow Co. at all to Farah and Alex. I mean, they were busy with their own businesses, the people that was hunted by Graves (Ghost and Soap) was not as closely connected with Faralex compared to Price and Kyle, plus as far as they know, Graves was a case closed. (They had no reason to converse about Graves anyway during the Atomgrad Raid)

(If Price and Kyle was the one hunted down in Las Almas, the story might go differently 👀)

With SC fighting Makarov's Konni Group, SC would for SURE appear in MWIII no doubt. Now Graves need to make sure that Faralex NEVER know about the Las Almas incident.

We'll see how it goes~

Y/N just kicks whoever hurt Optimus 😭 they're dead but Y/N doesn't care- they're kicking, or more so it's just

Y/N, kicking the con: Take tha- OW

Crosshairs: That's sweet 'n all, but what did ya think would happen?

Y/N: Even if death, the cons torment us so, true evil, I do say!

Crosshairs: ...

Crosshairs, looking at Optimus: Ya sure ya want this one-

Optimus: Yes they're perfect

Y/N still being dramatic in the background:

Y/N Just Kicks Whoever Hurt Optimus They're Dead But Y/N Doesn't Care- They're Kicking, Or More So It's

*Bee also kicking the con with Y/N*

Y/N when the con twitches:

Y/N Just Kicks Whoever Hurt Optimus They're Dead But Y/N Doesn't Care- They're Kicking, Or More So It's

Y/N and Bee once the con stops twitching:

Y/N Just Kicks Whoever Hurt Optimus They're Dead But Y/N Doesn't Care- They're Kicking, Or More So It's

Crosshairs:

Y/N Just Kicks Whoever Hurt Optimus They're Dead But Y/N Doesn't Care- They're Kicking, Or More So It's

Inside Optimus’s mind:

Y/N Just Kicks Whoever Hurt Optimus They're Dead But Y/N Doesn't Care- They're Kicking, Or More So It's

More often than not, when Lennox needs Optimus's help, he goes to you first because he knows Optimus will listen to you.

Remember that scene where Optimus refused to transform from his alt mode?

Lennox: Sigh, I didn't want to do this but- bring out the big guns

Goverment official: You aren't gonna shoot him, are you?

Lennox: What? No, they're the big guns

Y/N's just jogging up to Optimus. They don't need to say anything he'd just immidiately transform- he's in love, he is whipped, he will hold his lover gently

you get me anon. optimus adores his tiny human and will always listen to, love, respect them and hold them gently, just like they deserve.

deku having a crush on his wife for 838 words straight

Movie/Game/Show: My Hero Academia Dynamic: Izuku Midoriya/Reader Warnings: idk it doesn’t follow how the manga’s directing izuku’s future but whatever, fem reader, cringe Summary: Deku’s fans love pointing out Deku’s crush on his wife. Word Count: 838 ~~~

You aren’t sure why the video comes up in your recommended page, but that doesn’t altogether stop you from clicking on it. The title reads ‘deku having a crush on his wife for 3 minutes straight’, and with your husband, Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, currently away to America on work - you’d be lying to say that the content wouldn’t interest you. When Izuku can’t call or text, looking at snippets of interviews that fans have deemed as him showing off his “crush” on you can sometimes be a decent place-holder.

It first opens on an interview he’d done with Uravity and Shoto from a couple years ago as a fundraiser, he’s clearly not listening to the question being asked by the hostess. A fact that Ochaco is eager to point out with a snicker.

The hostess chuckles, “Wow, Deku, thinking up a new fight tactic for the field?”

“Oh, no, I’m so sorry,” Izuku shakes his head, suddenly tuning back in when he heard his name, “I was thinking about my wife, actually.”

Shoto narrows his eyes at the man, “It hasn’t been an hour yet.”

“I know, I know,” Izuku dramatically huffs before turning to the crowd, “Okay, just so you all get the picture, my wife had to go out of the country to visit some family, right? Got the text like half an hour ago that she was even leaving for the airport and I miss her already.”

“Sounds like clingy husband talk to me,” Ochaco teases.

“Well, when you guys get someone as cool as her to marry you, maybe you’ll understand,” he points at Ochaco specifically, “Until then, I don’t wanna hear it.”

~~

“You guys won’t believe it,” Denki’s face is the next opening shot, his grin wide as he turns his phone to show Izuku sitting beside him, “Dude was training interns and just in the middle of a fight says, ‘I miss my wife’ and leaves to go call her.”

“Don’t tease me,” Izuku glares at his friend, “I’ll have you know my wife will kick your ass for that.”

“Really?” the camera comes back to Denki’s skeptical face, “A hero’s ass is gonna be kicked by a civilian? No disrespect.”

“She’s very powerful and strong, she’d end you in a heartbeat.”

~~

Another interview comes on screen, this time from a few months ago, a voice from the gaggle of fans pops out, asking about how your husband found such a supportive partner with hero work being such a large part of his life.

“Well, my lovely wife and I actually met in middle school,” Izuku’s lips form into a soft smile as he recounts the day, “She was really supportive of me wanting to go to U.A and being a hero even though I didn’t show that I had a Quirk at the time. I knew after she let me sit with her at lunch that I wanted to be her friend - and then a few months after we started dating I was like ‘wow, I wanna marry this girl,’” he chuckles, “It sounds weird, but I really did know that she was the one pretty early. I think I carved it into the desk, too. Now that I think about it,” his brows furrow and he nods, “Yeah, I definitely did. Carved our names in a heart into a desk like a nerd.”

~~

“Guys,” the camera angle is at Izuku’s chin and pointing upward, his gaze not unlike that of a kicked puppy, “I don’t get those guys who have fun when their wives leave the house. It’s been like two hours and I already think I’ve gone through like four stages of grief. She isn’t even leaving for multiple days, she’s just visiting her grandpa.”

It’s silent for a few moments, Izuku pursing his lips before sighing, tossing his head back, and groaning out miserably,

“I miss her
”

~~

Ochaco’s face is next on screen before she points her camera at Izuku, “If your wife asked you to- “

“Yes,” he nods confidently.

“I didn’t get to finish!”

“And?”

~~

As the video wraps up, your phone buzzes and comes alight with your husband’s picture. You pick up the call with a smile, “Hey, you.”

“Hi,” Izuku sounds sheepish, he usually does but today particularly more so than others, “I miss you.”

“Aw, sweetie, I miss you too,” your brows furrow, “When’s your flight for? Isn’t it later today?”

“Yeah
” there’s the sound of Katsuki’s bark of a laugh followed by Izuku shushing him, “I don’t know, I just missed you a lot. Needed to hear your voice.”

“You’re so cute, bubs,” you coo over the phone, “Tough mission?”

There’s brief silence before Izuku speaks again, “I don’t wanna talk about work so much. I should be home later.”

“Sounds good, baby. I’ll see you when you get home, okay?”

“Yeah, see you later. I love you.”

“I love you, too, Izuku.”

Even as you hang up, you can still hear the sound of Katsuki picking fun at Izuku’s “clingy” tendencies.

In Honor of Shiggy's Bday today..

Here's a lil sum for him.

Fluff

Shigaraki x POC Reader

Kinda just a headcanon tbh. Not proofread at all.

In Honor Of Shiggy's Bday Today..

Shiggy waking up to soft feather like kisses on his face. He stirs just a little and opens his eyes once he’s flat on his back. When his vision focuses he hums when he meets eyes with his lover. The sun shining through the blinds onto her skin, bonnet hanging low because of her fro stuffed inside. She had taken her recent braids out so she could get her hair did again just for the occasion but got lazy and decided to give her hair a break. He liked when her natural hair was out anyway. Her pale colored eyes stared into his with such love it made his chest flutter.

“Morning..” his voice low, deep and raspy from his sleep. It clung, making his voice rumble sending shivers up her spine. Her hand reached up and softly stroked his cheek. Her touch was so delicate like he’d break if pressure was applied. The moment was so precious it made a swelling feeling build in Shigaraki’s chest. Was something going on? She’s normally like this but it seems different. He didn’t even know he aged another year today.

“Happy birthday Tenko.” Oh. That’s what it was. He couldn’t even be shocked that he forgot, too chocked at how his real name slid so smoothly off her tongue. Her voice sounded like silk, smooth like cold soba on a Friday afternoon at the downtown diner they go to every once in a while. So filled with love, tears stung the corner of his eyes and filled his waterline. Her hands were now both on his cheeks, softly rubbing the apples of his cheeks. They’ve used to be so rough, calloused and sullen but now? Now they’re full and soft. Still a bit rough but old habits die hard they say. The pink in them never show brighter than when she’s with him. He doesn’t know why he’s crying. Why he’s so emotional. Maybe it’s because he didn’t think he’d make it to another birthday. He’s forgotten his birthday so much he didn’t think he’d even remember when it was. Maybe it was the love and overwhelming amount of emotion that she shared with him just from a few words.

Or maybe it’s because she saved him. Saved him from going so far down in a trench that he wouldn’t come back and feel emotion ever again. Wet fat tears slid down his cheeks. Her eyes never stopped looking at him. Never looked away, never narrowed in judgment, never pitying him. It just showed love. She loves him. She loves him so much.

“I love you Tenko. I’m so happy I could be here for this day. Thank you for letting me stay, for letting me love you. You deserve so much and I know I can’t give you the world like you want but even so—“ she could finish. Not if he sat up so fast it gave her whiplash. Not when his lips met hers with such urgency, such fevor, so desperate. So desperate to show her that she’s already given him the world. The world he wants, the one he wants is the one with her in it. The one they are in right now, where she’s in it everyday if his life. That’s all he wants.

“I love you.”

“I love you. I love you. I love you—“ every kiss, every bite, every suck on her pretty pink lips he mutters his undying love to her. Her giggles soon sound off as he’s soon towering over her on the soft pillowy bed sheets. He soon stops his assault on her lips and holds himself up on his hands. Looking down at his love. The one who saved his life. She’s smiling, smiling so softly he just might cry again. Not like he stopped anyway. The sun rose a bit higher since so it’s rays we’re shining bright and right onto his Angel, so etheral, so bright, so
his. She lives for him and he knows it. She proves it to him everyday.

People fear him. They shake and tremble and the very mutter of his name but only if they knew.. it’s not him they should be afraid of. If they knew the things he’d do for her, they’d fear her instead. One word and it’s done.

A smile. It unknowingly made its way onto his face. So soft, so small but so beautiful. She thought it was so beautiful. To her he’s the most precious person, most beautiful, gorgeous being she’s ever seen, met. She loves this man. And she will remind him now and forever.

hi anon! thank you for ur req and im v sorry this is short, hope you like it!!!

gn!reader as always but they wear makeup!!

"i can't believe i'm letting you do this to me."

your lips twitched at your boyfriend's words, his soft smile contrasting his words as he watched you apply your lipstick softly. you knew he was kidding. after all, all you had mentioned was wanting to try a new lipstick you had bought. he was the one who sent you a video of the on going trend with a simple we should do this :) text, coming over to your place as soon as you agreed.

"what can i say?" you teased quietly, eyes on your lips as you admired the color. "you're a weak man for me, keiji."

"how could i not be?" he murmured softly, deep voice barely above a whisper as his eyes remained on you. you resisted the urge to hide your face from his view, continuing to apply the thick coat of lipstick while hoping your cheeks didn't look as heated as you felt they were before you slumped down in front of him, legs crossed, and he immediately pulled you closer, the action done almost effortlessly, his wide grin ruining all his attempts of keeping his excitement subtle.

you placed your first kiss on his lips, almost snorting when you pulled back at the sight. however, his smile only widened, shutting his eyes when you gently cupped his cheeks and pulled his face closer, peppering his soft skim with soft pecks until his entire face was stained. as soon as you pulled back, his eyes opened, blinking as he stared at your smudged lips for a few seconds before he leaned over and placed a single kiss, excitedly pushing himself up after to rush towards the nearest mirror.

he remained motionless as he stared at his reflection, and vou couldn't decide what his reaction implied until he glanced over at you, blinking as if he was in a daze. "can i go out like this?"

you let out a small laugh, wiping the excess lipstick off your face. "sure, baby. now, let's film the video, mhm?"

"how come you don't do this to me often?"

you raised an eyebrow at his almost-offended mumble as he slumped beside you. "you mean stain your face with waterproof lipstick that you will hate trying to get off your skin?"

"yes," he sighed dramatically. it was wild to you that your pouty boyfriend, akaashi keiji, appeared as a calm composed man to others. "stain my face more. i'll buy you all lipstick shades to exist, darling."

"
tempting."

bonus!

"our video went viral." you boyfriend stated a few days later, eyes on his phone screen as he stared at it blankly for a few seconds. he seemed surprised, and you hid your amusement as you held back a comment on how he shouldn't be so shocked when he practically watched the video every chance he got. before he opened the comments, eyes immediately narrowing as he started typing. "bokuto commented that we're cute together and he will be taking a nap in the middle of the street."

“
what did you say?”

“i told him to try a highway.”

“you’re a menace, keiji.”

“your menace, darling.”

Same Soul, Different Body.

Same Soul, Different Body.
Same Soul, Different Body.
Same Soul, Different Body.

request: Hi, I was wondering if you could write a Neteyamxhuman!reader where the reader takes the bullet for Neteyam, so they transport her soul to her avatar and they become really emotional upon waking up and seeing her human body, dead and they all (sully family and metkayina clan) have a funeral for her human body. Neteyam comforts her and mourns with her??

pairing: neteyam x human!reader / (eventually) na'vi!reader.

sully family x reader, ronal x reader (platonic).

note: thank you @karmascale for requesting this! this was a challenge to write and i hope i did your request justice! i did a few minor tweaks just to make the story flow better. this slightly deviates from the original plot in the movie! feedback is once again, much appreciated - i love hearing ur guys thoughts! this piece is my prized posession 😭😭😭 if there's any mistakes pls lmk! reader is gn!

cw: atwow spoilers, blood, funeral, angst, mourning/grief, eventual fluff, gsw, death, detailed descriptions of pain/slipping in and out of consciousness, seizure.

word count: 5.6k

tags: @odessa-is-my-queen

closely helped me through writing this so here is something to listen to if you want to get even more immersed <3

Same Soul, Different Body.

You weren't supposed to be there. That's the only thought that had been drilled into his mind ever since your body had struggled to stay afloat after jumping off the ship.

The once crystal clear blue waters were now tainted with an angry scarlet colour. Neteyam did not know what the source of it was. His heart had sunken, missing a beat when your head had not popped out of the water to cheer with the rest of them.

"Wait, where's Y/n?" Neteyam, panted as he tried to catch his breath.

Prior to all this, he had expressed how you should have gone back to Awa'atlu. But your eyes had a fire that even he couldn't shoot down. His family by definition was yours as well. You just couldn't sit this one out, not this time.

Your struggled gasps answered his question, your head bobbing back underwater only to resurface seconds later.

"Nete, I think I've been shot." You groaned in pain, as you struggled to stay afloat.

"You are such a skxawng, Y/n!" Neteyam cried, immediately swimming over to your side as he helped hold your much smaller body up.

"Hey, that's not nice." You tried to retort jokingly, only to cough up blood right after you had finished your sentence.

"We must bring Y/n back! They can help them there!" Lo'ak interjected, worried for his friend who wasn't even in their Avatar body. The tensions were through the skies that gloomed down on you all.

You weren't supposed to be there. Your link machine was experiencing issues, Norm was fixing it. Tuk, and Kiri, had brought you out to the ocean as you waited. You've been begging to see baby Ilu's ever since the Metkayina clan allowed you, Norm, and Max to stay behind after Kiri's seizure. Now seemed like the perfect time to do so, but they couldn't have been more wrong about their decision.

When you three had seen Lo'ak rushing off to warn Payakan about the tracker. Your friends not trailing too far behind him, you all joined too. You believed Lo'aks words from before, you didn't know such brutal consequences would come from such actions.

It was you and Neteyam who fled to drop the tracker further away, only to witness in horror as your friends were trapped in a net, being lifted by Ikrans and dropped on the large ship.

Only months ago were you all held captive, but the stakes are larger than life now. You were horrified. Neteyam curated a plan, only on the ship to cut them out of their restraints. Then you'd all head back together. But Lo'ak wanted to save Spider, and a sky-person turned Na'vi was blocking your freedom back into the water. You weren't supposed to be there. He thought he got you out there safely, how stupid of him to think that.

His amber eyes caught sight of your gunshot wound when he and Lo'ak pulled you on top of Tsireya's Ilu. His world was crumbling around him, and all he could do was apply pressure.

"It hurts!" You grunted, the pain like nothing you've ever experienced before.

"I know, I know. I'm so sorry, Y/n." Neteyam shushed you, trying to give you some comfort and calm his own worries.

His father's words began to repeat in his mind from the training lessons he used to teach his kids when they were far younger. This one focused on sky-people and the type of weapons they use. The damage it can cause.

"Son, a bullet wound is deadly - only if there is an exit wound."

How did a bullet even hit you? It should have been him. Now he felt like he was paying the price.

Neteyam cursed to himself, yaymak.

"We must bring Y/n back! They can help them there!" Lo'ak yelled to gather everyone's attention.

Tsireya, clutching onto her dear friend for life - nodded hastily. Yipping at her Ilu, they made haste back to their village.

Neteyam previously thought his greatest loss was the time he missed out with you. But now there was a chance of truly losing all of you. He couldn't bare the weight that train of thought held over him.

When his parents had told them that they'd have to leave all they'd ever known. He knew you wouldn't follow in their footsteps. They didn't even have a foolproof plan. And it would be too dangerous for you, your avatar was not ready yet.

He wanted to stay, but his family needed him now - more than ever before. They wouldn't allow it anyway.

"I will wait for you, Nete." You had told him, speaking so softly. Your words were full of warmth, full of promise. You sounded so sure, and it reassured him so much. He was utterly devoted to every fiber of your being. You already encompassed his entire mind. Each decision he had been making lately that would benefit his future, always circled back to you.

If he closed his eyes he'd still remember every minor detail of that day. The day he had to say goodbye. It was gutwrenchingly beautiful.

You stood on a tree trunk, and he wanted to curse Ewya for having to make humans wear masks. Because as your tiny hands grasped his face, his fists clenched in sheer desperation to caress yours. But he couldn't, not with that damned mask in the way.

Instead he opted for tucking a stray braid behind your ear, leaning down to place a kiss on your forehead. His hands hovered over yours above his face, before grasping them. You'd never get over how they dwarfed yours, how it felt to bask in his warmth. It felt like a reminder from Ewya that you were destined to be together.

You could see the tears he was trying not to shed, and feel the way his hands were slightly shaking. His ears laid flat, tail hung low. And it felt like a punch in the gut, a harsh reminder of not knowing when he would come back here. The fear of not knowing when you'd be in each other's presence again. His gaze kept traveling between every feature of your face. The boy did not have any artistic ability in his bones, but he'd be utterly dumb to not remember every minute detail that he had fallen for.

This wasn't earth, there were no devices that could reach as far as they were hoping to go. No mailing system. They'd have to rely on their trust for one another this time.

With purpose, you held his chin. "I. Will. Wait. For. You." You had annunciated every word.

Determination flickered in his eyes, and his hands held onto your mask, the part that covered your cheeks. You blushed, he'd never done that before.

"I will wait for you, Y/n." He declared as his forehead met yours.

"Come on, bro!" Y/n suddenly said, wait what?

His shoulders were being shaken, and he was brought back into the harsh reality.

"Hop on!" Lo'ak tugged on his arm, as he and Spider waited for him. Neteyam swung himself onto his Ilu. They raced back to shore.

He briefly saw Ronal ushering a member of the Metkayina clan who was holding his Y/n, into a mauri.

He started to head towards them with Spider when he realised Lo'ak wasn't following. He quickly turned around and beckoned him over, only to witness him hopping back on his Ilu.

"What are you doing?" Neteyam hissed at him.

"I have to go back for Tuk and Kiri! They are still there, mum and dad as well." Lo'ak explained.

"I'm coming with you." Spider walked back over, Lo'ak wanted to argue about it - but knew they didn't have time.

He could see the conflict in his older brother's eyes.

"I got this brother. I know that doesn't feel reassuring. because I usually don't. But this is our family, I won't fuck this up." Lo'ak insisted, he didn't want to risk a slim chance of potentially losing anyone else.

"Lo'ak...-" Neteyam tried to change his younger brother's mind.

"Please, trust me. You're going to regret not being here if Y/n gets worse." Lo'ak contested, he knew he was right.

Neteyam shut his eyes, taking in a deep breath. Contemplating his choices, he knew what he had to do.

"Go, but be alert. This isn't a raid back home!" Neteyam said.

Lo'ak nodded in acknowledgment, turning his Ilu and heading back to the ship in the distance along with Spider.

When they were nothing but a speck in the distance, he quickly rushed over to the mauri he saw Y/n and Ronal enter.

He rushed in, his heart somersaulting at the sight before him. You were pale, too pale. Your chest barely rises up and comes back down. He could tell you were on the verge of losing consciousness.

"Please mother, let me ask for the humans!" Tsireya begged as she continued to try to stop the bleeding.

"Fine, go get them." Ronal allowed it, continuing to do her ritual.

Tsireya was about to get up, but Neteyam stopped her.

"I can do it." He mumbled.

He made sure his comms were on the channel that had a connection with both his parents, Norm, and Max.

"Norm, Max.-" his voice choked up.

"I don't know what you are doing right now, but Y/n is dying. I need you to come to the chief's house, now! I don't- I don't know what you need to bring but just what you can! Please!" Neteyam pleaded as he fell by your side, his fingers running through your hair.

Blood splatter was speckled on the inside of your mask, and you blinked slowly in response to his barely there touch. Gazing up at him, a pained smile graced your face.

"Neteyam, is that you?" You asked.

"It's me, I'm here," Neteyam replied, tearing up at your whimpers of pain.

"We're on our way! Eta is 3 minutes!" Norm's rushed voice sounded through his comms.

"Tell her we are here. I am here." Neytiri's voice sounded forced, holding in the emotions she was truly feeling at that present moment.

"Okay, okay. Mum is with you, she is rooting for you. You hear me, Y/n? We all are!" He hoped his words were giving you strength, he felt like anything he could potentially do wouldn't be enough. Neteyam could only pray to Ewya that his mother would be okay after what she had just heard.

Neytiri loves you like you were her own, to this day she cannot pinpoint why she held such prejudice towards Spider but not you. Maybe because his father killed her own and the fact he had destroyed her clan's sanctuary.

Your mother and father were fierce, in a sense they were seen as warriors through her eyes. Alongside Trudy, they had pioneered the revolution against Colonel Quaritch and his followers. Y/n's mother had worked side by side with Grace, while your father worked on the front lines.

Right before the battle, she had confided in Neytiri.

"I am with child. If anything ever happens to my family, please take care of her." Neytiri took this newfound information in and agreed, deep down only hoping for the best. They were some of Neytiri's and Jake's greatest allies.

But Y/n's father was killed taking a stand, and with too much sorrow in her heart. Y/n's mother carried you to full term. Only to pass away after being with you for the first three months of your life. Neytiri nurtured you alongside Neteyam. She too just like Neteyam, could only pray to Ewya that you'd be okay.

"I'm scared," you spoke so quietly that if he wasn't as close to you as he was. He wouldn't have heard you at all.

"It's okay to be scared, I've got you. You're going to be okay." Neteyam emphasised with you, trying to offer more alleviation to such a dire situation.

"We're here- fuck." Norm cursed, as Max unpacked a few things.

"Nete, I'm tired. I want to go to sleep." Drowsiness was tempting you, and the pain was beginning to fade into nothingness.

"No! You must stay awake!" Neteyam tapped on your mask, but your eyes rolled to the back of your head.

You started to seize.

Ronal and Tsireya continued to chant, as Norm turned her on her side.

"There's too much blood, Max!" Norm shouted.

It poured out like a languid waterfall, strangely just like some of the ones back in the forest. He felt the dread tugging at him, he was losing you.

He held your head to stop you from potentially hurting yourself even more when suddenly your body slumped. Your breaths come out in wheezes.

Neteyam could no longer hold back his tears, he had never felt so helpless and petrified. He wished the rest of his family was here, in a room full of people - he felt stranded.

Max clocking onto this, pitched out a thought. "I don't know if it will work, but I have an idea." He held a flashlight above Y/n's eyes as he spoke.

"What is it? We'll make it work." Neteyam insisted. He would do whatever it takes to be able to rid you of this agony.

Ronal eyed the boy, understanding his struggles. Then stared at the humans who were fumbling over Y/n's body, using foreign devices.

"You wish to transfer Y/n's soul to their avatar," Ronal replied as she listened to your heart. It was weak, but still persisting.

Max gaped at her, the Tshahik must have put two and two together.

"We cannot save Y/n from these injuries, they are fatal. That is the only way." Max further explained, not meeting Neteyam's eyes. He knew what he was suggesting was an ultimatum larger than life. But he could not see any other way, you were already advancing further in succumbing to your wounds.

"What you are asking of me is something that has only been done a few times, not once has it been performed in our clan. As the Tsahik I cannot guarantee this will be successful!" Ronal protested as she continued to tend to you however way possible.

Tsireya continued to plug Y/n's wounds, listening in, as Neteyam hesitantly let go of your hand. Moving to Ronal, he kneeled down before her.

Ronal noted one thing, the eyes she was looking into were drastically different from how she remembered them moments ago. Now it was untamed, yet persistent.

"I know my family has caused enough destruction. I know you never wanted us here in the first place. You believed we would not do our part, and I cannot fault you for thinking that way. We have learned your ways, adapted like my father did." He then motioned to you behind him.

"So will Y/n. In your eyes, sky people come from demon blood, but their parents fought on Toruk Makto's side. They made a difference, just like Y/n has started to do here. Y/n is an excellent fisher and healer. The children in this clan have warmed up to them. Because that's the effect they have on people! I swear, if you give them this second chance, they will be forever grateful. And if it doesn't go the way we wish for it to, I will not put the blame on you. The decision of whether or not she passes through the 'Eye of Ewya' only lies with our great mother." Neteyam held his chin up high, not bothering to wipe away the tears that began to stream down his face.

Ronal looked at Neteyam for a few more beats, before shifting to look at you.

"Prepare them for travel, we do not have much time before they get too weak for the transfer." Neteyam cried out in relief, thanking the great mother as he moved back over to you.

"Stay with me, just a little more Y/n," Neteyam begged, squeezing your hand encouragingly.

"I can't feel anything Neteyam, please I'm scared." You whispered to him, and he tried to put on a strong face. But he couldn't even imagine how scared you must be if he was already paralyzed with fear. All he could do was pet your head. and give you continuous kisses on your hair and forehead. Ewya, please be with us right now.

"Where are they?" Neteyam could hear his mother calling for them outside.

"In here!" He beckoned them over.

"Tsireya, get your father and gather whoever can come with us. We must leave to the Coves of the Ancestors, now." Ronal advised her child.

She quickly halted what she was doing and dashed outside of the mauri.

Neytiri's hand fell to her mouth at the sight of you, weeping as Jake whispered comforting words to her.

"Mother." Neteyam looked up at her, not knowing how to proceed from here.

"Ronal, may I bring her on my Ikran?" Neytiri in just a single moment changed face. Time was of the essence.

"Yes, you have not been where we are going. Follow along with us." Ronal commanded, gathering her things and getting ready to ride.

At this point you were slipping in and out of consciousness, but Tsireya had been able to temporarily stop the bleeding. Neytiri cradled you in her arms as she walked outside, calling for her Ikran.

The Sully family and Metkayina clan made their way to the Cove of the Ancestors. Ronal could not shake the feeling she had thought. That no matter what - they would end up holding a funeral there tonight. She dared not to voice such feelings.

Neytiri stayed leveled, flying closely side by side with Jake and Neteyam. She kept looking down at you through the short journey, checking on you. She wasn't the only one who was doing so though. Neteyam as well kept a close eye on you. Sometimes his Ikran would brush too closely to Neytiri's. She let it slide this time.

The last time Neteyam was here, you were in your Avatar body. You both had a deep love for sacred places to the Na'vi, and this one wasn't any different. Neither of you has heard of the place before, but it didn't squash the appreciation you both had for it. He recalls not just being in awe of his surroundings, but also of you. Your eyes held something remarkable, full of wonder. You'd given him one of your big grins, the one that only comes out in times like this. Your deep appreciation for monumental sites like this made him think of how your heart was just pure gold.

"You'd make a great Tsahik one day", is something he had cheekily said to you. In return you gave him a smack on the shoulder, scolding him. He harbored such great memories from that day, he loved it. He could only desire to relive that instead of all this.

The wind swooshed in her ears, but Neytiri faintly heard you say, "I like it here." She grinned down at you tearfully.

Truthfully, you don't know much about where you came from, to you - Pandora was and always will be your home. Nothing could compare to the beauty it beholds.

"Me too," Neytiri spoke wistfully.

You all were approaching the spirit tree, submerged in the ocean. It glowed like no other. The clan began to make a circle around it, linking their arms.

"Jake, we have their avatar!" Norm called from a rock not too far from the tree that they were safely able to land on. They had left before everyone else to get there ahead of time.

Jake flys down to them, retrieving your avatar.

Neytiri and Neteyam go to the same rock. They step off their Ikrans as Neytiri treats them like a feather. Your whimpers of discomfort do not go unnoticed.

Ronal and Tonawari approach them with a large leaf of sorts.

"You may place her in here," Tonowari told them.

You looked peaceful, too peaceful. You were placed in the leaf, as Ronal began to float you closer to the Spirit tree. The Sullys closely followed behind their Tsahik.

"Jake, attach their avatar to the spirit tree" Ronal ordered.

Jake nodded, placing a mask on your Avatar and activating it - an idea of Norms and Max as you would be underwater for an unknown amount of time. He connected your queue to the tree, the closest he could to the surface.

"We must put them to sleep for the ceremony to start. If you'd like to say anything to them, now is the time." Ronal gave you moments of privacy, swimming over to members of the Metkayina clan to further explain what was going on.

Neteyam couldn't remove his eyes from your Avatar that was shifted with the current of the ocean. Swaying whilst attached to the Spirit Tree, he'd never seen your Avatar look so lifeless.

Jake waved him over, "Neteyam, they are asking for you."

Tuk was crying, her head leaning against your own. You quietly spoke to one another, even while in agony - you managed to make the youngest Sully giggle.

Neteyam drew closer to you, even if you were facing away from him. Like clockwork, you felt his presence. Your head slightly turning to acknowledge him.

Tuk moved back, latching onto Lo'ak as she cried into his shoulder. The entire Sully family have given words of encouragement to Y/n, Jake especially - explaining the process and how it felt passing through "The Eye of Eywa". He could only pray you'd get that far. He was truly hoping this wouldn't be a repeat of Grace Augustine.

"This is not goodbye. I will see you when I wake up, and I will be by your side the entire time. You are not alone. Oel ngati kameie." He stated, headstrong - like his father.

Neteyam wanted to wipe away your tears, he wanted to lean his head against yours without the obstruction of the mask. He realised that very soon, it could be possible. If you make it through this, that is.

"Neteyam I-I, Oel ngati kameie." You stuttered, voice cracking. That was all you can manage.

Ronal expectantly surveyed the Sullys, Neteyam nodded. It's time.

"We will now begin the consciousness transfer. Neteyam, connect them to the Spirit Tree. You may rest for the time being, Y/n." Ronal announced, everyone, witnessing their mighty Tsahik.

Your eyes fluttered shut, Neteyam looked at his family, before taking a deep breath and bringing their limp body to the Spirit tree.

His eyes widened as one of the leaves reached out, attaching itself to your back. Ewya, are you here? A comforting hand met his shoulder, his foundation. His family.

The Sullys linked their arms as Neytiri and Neteyam held onto you.

The Spirit Tree was alive, its light brightening a tenth fold. Flickering, as it seemed to react to the chanting of the clan. The Sullys could only cling onto each other more tightly as each leaf on the spirit tree lit up. It was fascinating to witness, they were just hoping it would work.

Before they knew it, the lights ceased. Ronal from above the surface halted everyone, before diving down to where you were. Tonowari, Tsireya, and Ao'nung trailed behind. They all looked to you expectantly, hoping for any sort of sign.

Gasping you awaken, struggling to catch your breath as you immediately check your surroundings. Neteyam almost choked on the water as your eyes opened, he tried to get your attention but you were too lost in your own world.

You were in the water, but how were you breathing? The mind-numbing pain was gone, and you definitely felt different. You were trying to remember and process whatever had just happened. Oh yes, the ceremony. It must have not worked, you're still wearing a mask.

By instinct your hands move to cover your face in shame, instead, you see that it's your avatar's hands. You tilt your head down, the legs, feet! It's all blue. Did it actually work?

Neteyam swan closer to your side, pointing upwards. Signing to you to swim up to the surface, you nodded. Detaching your queue, you made your way to the surface - the Sullys except Neytiri followed behind closely.

This time when your head pops out from the water, there is no bullet wound. You weren't bleeding out, you were truly Na'vi. You've miraculously been given a second chance at life.

You removed your mask as grateful tears streamed down your face. You gaped at Ronal and the Metkayina clan, "Thank you, thank you so much." You spoke to them all, signing "I see you".

When you reached Ronal, you brought her into a hug. The soon-to-be mother of a 3rd child was in shock, looking at Tonowari. The man could only grin, urging his mate to return the hug. And so, she did just that.

"Y/n!" Tuk screamed in delight as she swam over to you, you disconnected from Ronal. Mouthing "thank you again", she let a smile slip as she took in your words.

You hugged Tuk, looking at Neteyam over her shoulder. He was looking at you, differently. It was expected that he was always more attentive towards you. It felt all too similar to when he tried to remember every piece of you before parting ways. He was in disbelief.

Neytiri came up from behind Neteyam, a large leaf in her grasp as Jake helped console her.

Neteyam let Y/n lean their head on his shoulder as he squeezed you, kissing your cheek. They all realised what exactly, or who Neytiri was carrying.

Your human body.

You didn't want to look, it felt far too strange to do so. While your avatar still held features very similar to that of your human self, most of what resembled your parents felt futile. It just wasn't the same anymore, and it never would be again.

You felt grateful that you were already aware of how it felt to live amongst the Na'vi in an Avatar body. Navigating this body isn't rocket science, you've been in and out doing so these past few months.

Tsireya comes, with a handful of flowers and seashells. She delicately spreads them around in the leaf.

"In our village, we give back energy to the ocean, the sea will allow their past self to rest peacefully." Tsireya indicated to the ocean floor beneath you all that held a yellow glow.

Neytiri leans her head down, kissing your now-closed eyelids. She felt a sense of deja-vu creeping up on her. Her family follows her actions, all of them kissing your eyelids, their own unspoken version of goodbye. As Neytiri and Jake brought your human body down to the sea anemone that awaited for you, all you could think and wish for - was more time.

You didn't understand why the circumstances had to be like this. As you watched that version of yourself begin to disappear, it physically felt like a part of yourself went with it.

Y/n no longer felt naive to Pandora. They knew more than most about this beautiful luxury. Now that they'd been gifted with a body that was stronger, and more capable. They would stand with their chin held high and fight. Just like their parents had done.

Slowly everyone disperses, making their way back to Awa'atlu. Neteyam can see how drained you are, he silently beckons you to follow him. They make their way back to his Ikran, flying back home.

Everyone's asleep. You had tried to do so yourself, but you only got a good hour in before being awoken by the thoughts circling your mind. Poor Neteyam was exhausted, so it didn't take much for you to escape from his hold and make your way outside.

You let yourself sit on the shore, gazing up at the twinkling stars and endless skies. Squinting your eyes, you saw someone making their way back. Ronal.

Her cyan eyes widened seeing you, hopping off her Ilu she walked over.

"Can't sleep?" Ronal inquired at the obviously distraught child.

You shake your head, no.

Ronal sighed, "I understand, today has changed your life. It is good that you have such a strong support system."

All you could muster was a grin, "Thank you, Ronal. I know I've said that countless times today. But I don't know what convincing it took, but I will forever be in debt to you."

This time, it was Ronal who shook her head.

"I am your Tsahik, you have proven to not be useless here. But that Sully boy, he begged for me to do whatever it takes to save you. I'd like to believe Tonowari would have done the same for me if I was one of the good sky people. You are essential to Metkayina, you are one of us now."

She let her hand linger on your shoulder. Before you could get a response in, Ronal was already walking away back to her mauri.

You looked over your shoulder, she'd done the same.

Speaking it out didn't feel enough, therefore you signed it instead.

"Oel ngati kameie." She did the motion in return.

As she walked inside her mauri, someone else caught your attention.

Your Neteyam.

He darted over to you, a worrisome expression plastered on his face.

"What's wrong? Are you in pain?" He blurted out, lifting your arms to check if there were any wounds.

"I am, not physically though. Thank you for worrying about me, Nete. I am mourning what I've lost, what those demons have robbed away from me." You explained to him, your hand movements were erratic as you were still trying to come to terms with everything yourself.

Neteyam clenched his fists, before bringing you into his embrace. You leaned your head over his heart, listening to the steady rhythm. It dawns on you, you could've lost this.

Your grip tightens, truly taking him in as you bring your hands through his braids. You could've lost him.

He seemed to be coming to terms with the same realisation. You heard him sniffling as he breathed you in. You made him lean back, your thumbs following his tears as you gently brushed them away. He nuzzled his face into your hands, his body shaking as he tried to conceal the depth of his emotions.

Neteyam tried to speak, his mouth opening only to close again. You let him reign his thoughts as you continued to gently caress his defined cheekbones.

You gazed into his eyes, they were dark, lost. He seemed worlds away from you..

"I simply cannot live in a world that doesn't have you in it." Neteyam spoke through clenched teeth. Like uttering those words was a physical blow to his gut.

"Nete...-" You tried to offer words of comfort, only to be cut off.

You let him - because you understand him.

He exclaimed. "You are my home! You are my person! It should have been me, Ewya worked her miracles today. But seeing you now, compared to how you just were. I keep doubting if you are even real."

Neteyam could not meet your coaxing eyes, his hands were gripping your arms for dear life. Truth be told, when he had woken up and you weren't there? He had thought the ceremony was a sick joke he had curated to cope. His heart almost gave out when he went outside the mauri only to see you sitting in the same spot you always seemed to endeavor.

"And you are mine, I am here. I am real." You carefully removed his hands from your arms, placing one on your cheek and the other on your heart.

"The great mother has given me a second chance, all thanks to you. Do not beat yourself up for something that was out of your control. We've already lost so much time, I cannot afford to dwell on it any longer." Your words settled in his soul, making itself an oasis there. It was like a thwack to the back of his head, just like the ones you'd do when you scolded him.

You're really here. He could breathe.

You were right, it all has already happened. All you can do is move forward. That you can both do, together. As a pair, you were an unstoppable force.

His eyes that were so lost a few moments ago opened, with newfound sparks of hope. A new sense of purpose. Behind all that flickered rage, directed at the sky people. They would pay for what they've done to you if they crossed each other's paths in life again.

You beamed at him, he looks so radiant at this moment. He let you lean your head on his shoulder as he held your hands in his. He traced random patterns on yours as he looked down at them.

"Tanhi, I forget even now your hands are still smaller than mine." He smirked at you as you snarled at him.

"Shut up, skxawng!" You giggled and he could only grin in return, giving your hands a gentle kiss or two.

Between one another you talked about your favourite memories of when you were human through the rest of the eclipse. Neteyam chuckled at one he was specifically fond of as you continued to rant about it.

As his nose nuzzled into yours, your cheeks became a deeper blue hue at his actions. He couldn't be more grateful for the Great Mother and her ways. Neteyam decided to take this whole experience as the beginning of something else entirely.

Ewya has secured a lifetime with you. His father was right, his family is a fortress. He will no longer take that for granted.

Neteyam may not become the Olo'eyktan like his parents were preparing him for. But wherever either one of you went, the other always followed. He will protect that honour for as long you'll let him, and he hopes it lasts for this life and every other one that the world demands of him.

Same Soul, Different Body.

Gaz: You’re oddly obedient to the captain but never the higher ups, why?

Me: If it slaps his thigh when he walks, I listen whenever he talks.

*Gaz mortified staring at me while Soap cackles in the background*

His wife

John "Soap" MacTavish x Black Fem! Reader Summary: The job is done. Now it's time for 1-4-1 to return back to the base with a win on their burly shoulders, at least for everyone but Soap. Getting an urgent call from Laswell on his way back stops that win for him.

TW: slight mentions of trauma responses and home invasion.

His Wife

"Watcher to Bravo 7-1, how copy?" Laswell's voice filtered through Soap's earpiece stopping his rambling to Gaz and Ghost. The two sighed in relief when he began talking to Laswell.

"Bravo 7-1 to Watcher, we're still in the heli, 20 minutes out but we're near. What's up?" The scot got a look from a new recruit hearing the way he spoke to someone so high up. Should he really be speaking to Laswell so casually?

"You guys did a good job, congrats. Soap, when you get back I need you in the Conference room soon as you reach, it's urgent. Understood? Watcher out." Only the whirring of the helicopter blades could be heard once Laswell's voice cut out.

The worry that was nowhere to be found then sprung into his chest and took over like the plague. All of a sudden? Why now? This isn't the first time something like this has happened, the team getting called urgently soon as they finished a mission, but it was only him who was requested and while he wasn't scared, it worried him just a bit.

The ride suddenly felt longer than it should've. Ghost and the others on the team felt the antsiness leak off Soap in waves which made them(Ghost), a little anxious. As stoic as the masked man is, he's grown very close with his team working with them for so long. He can't help but internally replicate the emotion of his partner in crime, even if it's just for a few seconds. He's found himself doing that with not just Soap, but others as well sometimes and has to remind himself to cut it out.

As the rails hit the landing pad and the doors opened, Soap was out and heading for the conference room. The worry grew when he thought of what or rather who could be involved. That frightened him speeding up his pace to the room while he ignored the looks his team gave him as well as his injuries. Price and the rest followed behind slowly, needing to give the full report to Laswell but they were curious as to what was so urgent.

Time stopped as Soap pushed through the door to the room. There, Laswell stood on the far end of the round table, and by the close end sat his wife and his son of 9 months. His heart sped up when the time seem to go back to normal and he met eyes with his beloved's teary, red ones.

'She was crying. Why? Who made her cry? Why is she trembling?' Soap's mind was running a mile a minute. He didn't realize he was even moving till his wife was in his arms with hers wrapped around him like a vice. His son Bailey was now being held by Laswell who sat near so the two parents could hug.

Soap relished in the taming breath of his wife. She was calming down with her head buried into his neck and her arms around his torso. She wasn't that shorter than him, head reaching up to the tip of his chin. Her hair, in waist-length braids, shoved into a silk bonnet, the hoodie(his hoodie) she wore hung off her shoulder revealing a very visible bruise on her shoulder. She was a mess.

"What happened love?" A kiss was pressed to her temple as he half whispered his question into her ear so as to not startle her. He felt her grip on him tighten before she loosened her arms from him and stepped back, not making eye contact. A breath left her shaky lips before she lifted her head up and spoke.

"I went for a walk this morning with Bailey. I needed some air, my mind wasn't in the right place. What happened at my momma's house on Thanksgiving kept replaying and I needed to get out. So I went on a walk with him, it was just around the yard and then to the Bakery right down the road from us. When I got back, the door was wide open. You know how I am with locking the doors, John. I-"

He watched as her breathing picked up when explaining. He knew what was happening. Her need to over-explain so he believes her, so she knows he understands properly. All the trauma responses he's seen repeatedly from her because of her past relationship. Soon she's gonna start begging him to believe her so he knew he had to put a stop to her rambling quickly.

"Hey hey hey, breathe love. What did I tell you about doing that? I believe you, baby. I know you're telling the truth, calm down." Soap tugged her closer cupping the chub of her cheeks into his large palms feeling her immediately lean into them. His wife was a gentle soul. Sassy and stubborn at times but gentle, fragile even. She knew how to take care of herself, her independence getting the better of her at times. In the beginning, it caused a bit of trouble when they were only dating, she wasn't relying on him even after being together for a year or so but they got that situated after a while.

She looked at Soap with wet lashes, staring back at her protector and lifeline, her husband. She knew he was right, she needed to calm down and breathe. Soap isn't like the man she was with before. He never put his hands on her or even lift a finger in threat of doing so. Never raised his voice, and always made her talk it out instead of walking away. Soap was attentive, loving, and gentle, everything she's never experienced before with anyone. She knew whatever she spits out of her mouth he believed and would die by it.

Once calm, she finished explaining. Nothing looked to be touched or even moved but there was a letter on the table, it was addressed to her and Soap. The only identification of the sender was the letter M. Soap's fist clenched at his sides once he let go of his beloved. His eyes met with Laswell's and she got up and handed his son to him.

Laswell watched as Soap's shoulders untense when he held his son. His first-born child, his bundle of joy, their creation. He really does look like him. He looked back at her as she started talking about what actions they can take for the safety of the two. Soap was promised his family's protection by Shepard, and while the bald traitor is currently off the radar, Laswell intends to keep that promise. She explained the new area they would be moved to with more security and protection, and it brought some sort of relief to her mind.

The door soon opened and in walked Captain Price and his two tag-alongs, Gaz and Ghost. None of them knew of the situation but all their eyes zoomed in on the baby cooing at their Scottish teammate. The woman only Ghost seems to recognize moves just a bit closer to Soap, eyes wet with lingering worry and surprise. Ghost walks over to the two and nods down at his partner's wife who's giving him a small smile. He then looks at Soap, grinning under the mask.

"The lass really does look like you, ey." Ghost saw the grin creeping onto Soap's stubbly face. Pride and joy swelled into the Scot's eyes when he looked down at his cooing son. A chuckle sounded out and he turned to Price and Gaz.

"Lads, this is my wife and this is my son, Bailey." Looking around, his lover saw the surprise in their eyes as he introduced them. She felt how the air turned from tense to breathable and joyous, all because of the smile that beamed off her husband's face. His smile. It always brought comfort to not only her but the people around him.

She was safe now. Leaning on him, she breathed out quietly. Things are gonna be ok. She was Mrs. MacTavish after all.

A Daddy

John "Soap" MacTavish x Poc Fem! Reader During a meeting, Ghost realizes Soap is missing. He goes looking for him and see's him having a facetime call on a computer with a beautiful woman and a newborn baby on the other side of the screen.

Notes: Ngl to yall. I think this one isn't my best but imma still post it cause I want to. Hope it isn't that bad of a read, suggestions are welcomed anytime!!

A Daddy

"We're missing someone, aren't we? He's usually the first one here to these meetings." Gaz sat in the chair furthest from the front but directly next to Price. He wasn't that worried since neither Price nor Laswell was concerned about the missing scot, but he was curious as to where he could be.

Someone who was more curious about where the Mohawk was was Ghost. Although he'd rather die than ever utter this out loud, Soap's gruffly accent is what he looks forward to in the mornings. It lets him know that he's made it to another day and somewhat grounds him and keeps him in tune with reality when (although it's rare) he feels himself slipping. So seeing him missing was the first thing he noticed when he was the last to walk into the room and Laswell immediately started talking.

"He's been excused for the time being. He can be filled in by Price later when he's finished with his business." Laswell continued with the information she had after clearing the air about the missing Sargeant. Ghost didn't dwell on it any longer and paid attention to the meeting until it finished 30 minutes later.

After being dismissed, they all went their separate ways doing god knows what. Ghost had set off to stroll around making sure he had nothing else to do before he retired to his room to go over the files he and the rest were given in the meeting.

Simon wasn't one to wander the base. Not that he hadn't engraved every part of it into his memory out of instinct, but, he wasn't one to explore unless necessary. His small walk turned into him mindlessly looking for his Scottish partner in crime, and while it is out of character for him to be so curious as to where Soap was, he couldn't help but look.

Ghost eventually walked past a conference room and he knew from the room number he was getting close to the visitation room. That room was for family calls or special access visitations from family members if you had high enough clearance. As he was walking, he heard the missing man's ruff Scottish voice cooing in some sort of baby talk. Ghost walked up to the open room door silently and stood there seeing Soap sitting in front of a laptop cooing softly at it, he tilted his head to see what had him that way. A dog maybe?

'That sounds like something Johnny would do.'

When Ghost tilted his head, he was surprised to see a newborn baby and a beautiful woman with dark skin on the other side of the screen. A big, tired smile was on the woman's face as she held the baby in her arm. Soap leaned his head on his folded arms on the table with the softest look ghost had ever seen. His eyes held such love and devotion that if she were in front of him he'd be worshiping her from head to toe.

"I see someone is excited to be a daddy. You know he looks just like you if you squint. He's the spitting image of you John it's crazy" The pretty lady on the other side of the screen lightly giggled at the end of her sentence, her accent sounding foreign. A chuckle soon came from Soap's lips as he stared at his newborn son in his lover's arms.

"If anything he looks more like you to me. Well either that or it's the laptop's shitty ass quality and he really does look like me." There was a pause before he sighed heavily. "I can't wait to see you, baby, you and little Bailey" Soap's voice held a sadness Ghost hadn't heard before. It was like he was a different man completely. Not that Soap wasn't an expressive man, quite the opposite actually, but, he only ever showed anger, cheekiness, joy, and other neutral emotions. Never quite showing complete sadness and happiness.

Ghost felt that he was invading something private by listening and watching. Something intimate and special it almost flustered him, so he turned from the door frame and started walking ahead, only for his name to be called by the man he just left in the room. He turned to see Soap by the door waving him over to come back. It looks like the woman on the screen saw Ghost and mentioned it to him. Now that he was back, Soap tugged Ghost back into the room with a broad smile. He was gonna be able to show his beloved his best mate on the force and he was ecstatic.

"Darlin, This is Ghost, he's a part of my team. He's the scary brute around here scaring the new recruits" A gruff exhale came from the said man. He was being introduced to someone without his consent but then again, it was his fault for seeking out the Scot in the first place.

Ghost stared into the screen at the curious woman. He had to say she was quite stunning. Dark skin, frizzy hair (he's guessing from the baby in her arms, the messy hair is from childbirth), and small eyebags that showed her fatigue just a bit. His eyes zoomed in on the tiny baby laying in the woman's arms. They had blue eyes and their facial features for a newborn looked scarily identical to their father's.

"The champ looks like me, aye? She says he does and I believe it. The MacTavish genes in me run strong." Soap bosted proudly with a grin seeing his sweetheart smile at his words. Ghost nodded and looked at Soap with Amusement but something he couldn't explain. Simon felt joy for Soap. As chipper as the Scot was, there were times he'd see him at his lowest, like he was ready to rid of it all, to take the coward's way out. Alas, he would always bounce back in the next few hours to bug the hell out of ghost and talk his ear off but he knew how the lass would. Soap having another bundle of joy to keep him grounded and to keep him motivated to stay alive was something Ghost was happy about.

Soon, it was time for Soap's lover to go. She was tired evidently so Soap said his I love you's and his goodbye's solemnly and the call ended. Soap sighed and stood up, walking out of the room, toe-in-toe with Ghost, walking the hall, and heading back to the barracks.

"You know, I didn't think you would have a lover much less a child. From your bad jokes, I assumed your pickup lines were just as bad." An offended gasp came from Soap's mouth upon hearing the Brit's words.

"I'll have you know she loves my pickup lines thank you. They're part of my charm she says." Ghost could hear the adoring tone of his voice at the end. He really loved his girlfriend and vowed hed marry her soon as he is able to leave. Ghost chuckled and they walked in comfortable silence.

Soap became a daddy that day, and Ghost was happy for him.

Time Off

TF 1-4-1 X POC Reader John Price, Kyle Garrick, John MacTavish, Simon Riley x Reader A break, they needed a break. Laswell knows they need the time off instead of worrying about Makarov and Shepard so that's what she gives them. Only, they don't have anyone to go home to that is, before one of their teammates invites them over.

Time Off

"Time off? So suddenly?" Seargent Soap voiced everyone's thoughts to Laswell. She had just updated them on the whereabouts of General Shepard and briefed them on what actions to take when the topic of Makarov came up when she brought up them taking some time off. It stunned them to silence when hearing her bring up the cold season and going home to whoever may be waiting and if not take some time to take care of themselves properly.

"Yes Seargent and that's not a request it's an order I like you all but I'm getting sick of seeing your faces so take the time off and enjoy yourselves. Dismissed." With that, she shooed them out of her office and they all stood outside the door wondering what the hell they'd do with this time off. Standing more off to the side than the others, Ghost looked over at you seeing you were the only one not in distress at the order.

"You don't seem to be in peril Seargent, you got plans when you head home?" It was a surprise hearing ghost ask you such a personal question. Although he has gotten comfortable with his team, it is rather odd of him to ask. The others got over their initial shock and looked over at you now suddenly curious as well. You let out a sigh before speaking.

"No, I don't, I'm heading home to an empty home just like the rest of you. If you guys are so struck by what to do then why not come with me for the break? It gives me a reason to use all the groceries that get replaced in my home every two months." In all honesty, you asked them not only to stop them from being lonely during their break but to also stop yourself from being lonely as well. Like them, there was no one waiting in your two-story home for you so why not spend the lonely days to come with people you've learned to call family?

You trust these four men with your life should that day come and they do as well. It would be a way to strengthen that already tight bond you all have together and it would give you a chance to boast about your impeccable cooking skills.

"Are you sure? This is your home we're talking about, you sure you want us to intrude like that?" Soap was a bit reluctant to the offer because while he was internally excited at it, the last thing he wanted to do was intrude. How cute.

With a nod of your head and some light reassurance, they all agreed to go and split up to get packed and meet up at 1400 (2:00 pm) to leave for the airport. Soon, you five were all set and on a plane to the state you lived in and on the road to your home.

Your home was two stories and quite modern, away from most of the town but close enough to get supplies when needed, and surprisingly once the owners who originally rented it to you passed, your rent was dropped by a lot and eventually sold to you completely.

Walking inside you took your shoes off and looked around the entrance hallway feeling so much nostalgia. The men behind you followed suit removing their shoes and following you inside your home staying suspiciously quiet. In reality, they were nervous being in your home, you had told them it had enough rooms and a pull-out bed for them all to sleep over but they were nervous nonetheless. You set your bag on the dining table before walking into the kitchen looking through the cabinets to see fresh groceries with a note from the carrier that they were recently restocked. You made a note to increase their pay at the start of the next year.

"You guys can get yourself settled in while I pull some things out for dinner. There's one room downstairs and three upstairs. I'll set up the pull-out bed for whoever claims that one but you can put your things in the two other rooms. " You were already pulling some things out of the fridge after washing your hands, while you were talking to them and when you finished you heard shuffling and small grunts of acknowledgment to your words as the four men did as told.

Gaz and Price chose the two rooms upstairs while Soap chose the couch bed leaving Ghost with the room downstairs. As they were settling in, they all took the time to look around but not pry too much. They saw that your home wasn't really what they expected. No pictures of friends or family, no personalization even when Price stepped into your room accidentally thinking it was the guest room. The only way he knew it was yours was the neatly folded underwear on your bed that seemed like it was gonna get packed but never made it. When he turned to leave he caught glimpse of a pocket-sized picture of you holding a newborn baby laying on the floor by the end of the bed. It's not something he would ever guess he would see especially if it was you. He closed the door and said nothing as he found the correct room and got himself settled in.

While you began cooking you took a break while things were heating up to put your things away in your own room.

"You guys should go shower while you're at it, it'll be a minute before I'm done cooking anyway so might as well, right?" And so the night went on.

You eventually finished your cooking and you along with the four ate. It was quiet and awkward but eventually, Soap popped a question and you soon fell into lively chatter, Ghost and soap falling into petty banter while Price entertained it and Gaz chuckled quietly to himself. You eventually pulled out some whiskey much to Ghost's dismay. "I drink Bourbon" He defensively said, though, you could see the amusement in his eyes. He had his Balaclava on but the black makeup was removed when he showered and he felt comfortable enough to show us that much. Not like you all hadn't seen his face before but the point is made.

When you all were done, Gaz being the sweetheart he was offered, no, told you he was going to clean up while you relaxed. "You've been on your feet since we came so I got it, go relax." You could feel your heart clench at his words.

Ever since you got recruited for 1-4-1, Gaz had been nothing but a sweetheart through and through, not to mention a heartthrob when he threw in his small compliments with a shy tone. Price wasn't as bad, but the captain wasn't shy when complimenting or downright flirting with you. It wasn't the overly obvious flirts nor did say it in front of people but, he was quite the charmer when he wanted to be.

Soap on the other hand didn't care who was around, if you did an amazing job on a particular mission or any mission at all, he would praise you till you told him to stop. He loves seeing the twinkle in your eyes or the pep in your step when you got praised for doing a good job. It made him feel good knowing you were happy from his words. Ghost wasn't one to be vocal, everyone in and out of the task force knew that. He wasn't one to just compliment and praise for any small thing but, when it came to you, he would find himself biting back the overwhelming feeling of pride he felt. Whenever you did something right even when you second-guessed yourself when you take out more than one person at a time. He finds himself grinning under his mask and petting your head lightly, chuckling to himself at the happy look you sprung onto your face at the act.

They all slowly began to love your reactions and you as a whole. They became protective even borderline possessive when Shepard ordered you to stay out of a mission while the others were told to go. "They are a part of this team, where we go, they go no questions asked about it, so if you want us to do this I suggest you make your changes from now." Stunned was General Shepard hearing Ghost speak up like that. You had only been on the team for a couple months so he didn't think they were gonna get attached so quickly, boy was he wrong.

Now here you all are, spread on the couches tipsy and happy, chuckling at Soap's slurred speaking not even understanding the lad as his accent gets heavier. Relaxed is a word none of you would associate yourselves with, especially in your line of work, but tonight? Warm, comfortable, and happy in each other's presence? I would say this is the most relaxed they've ever been.

With your head on Price's lap and your legs on Soap's, Ghost sitting on the floor near the couch, and Gaz on the single couch, they all stared at your resting face, dark skin glowing under the light of the fireplace lit rid the chill that came with the upcoming season. They watched in a comforting silence as you succumbed to sleep, pressing your cheek into the captain's thigh and mumbling a drunken goodnight. A fluttering feeling filled their chest, they didn't know what it was but all they knew was that if anything happened to you, it would be over for them.

A break. They all needed a break, even you.

Drapery - Azumane Asahi

Azumane knew the feeling of another’s skin beneath his hands. Over the years, he has been intimate with the nature of others’ bodies. He has learnt the patterns of waists, legs, shoulders, and arms into a near science: soft, sharp, boxed, round, big, or small. Each body is different from the next, unique and the same, and ever-changing. Azumane has held hundreds and is always keen to experience the build of another. Such is the world of fashion.

“Can you lift your arms for me?” he asks one hand on his subject’s bare shoulder, holding the end of his tiring measuring tape.

“Like this?” You raise your arms to a T rolling your shoulders back to maintain posture.

“Perfect, thank you.” His hand slides down your arm, pulling the measuring tape until meeting the bend of your wrist.

Lazy day

Every once in a while the League would have slow days. Some things were taking their time so they couldn’t do anything till certain things were set in place, so there were slow days for the LOV. It wasn’t everyday they had the energy to do something bad, as villains you would think they were out causing havoc 24/7 but no, they can have a rest day too.

Lounging around the hideout was Kurogiri behind the bar per usual, Dabi on the single couch, Toga and twice splayed over the long couch and Tomura sitting at the bar with father right next to him instead of on his face. It was rare that he ever had it off but the people he was around at the moment were the ones he could say he was most comfortable with. Spinner had went out to go get food for the gang and was to be returning soon since he had been gone for a while. Did he get held up or something?

The front door to the bar opened with a bit of force, alerting the members residing inside that Spinner had returned, finally is what they all groaned. Following behind him was you. They weren’t expecting to see you following behind spinner with two bags in your hand and a popsicle dangling from your lips. It was pretty hot out so the ac that hit your face when you closed the door behind you felt heavenly. The villains who were used to your presence greeted you as spinner started sorting out the food and giving each of them their order while receiving thanks.

To them, you were one of the few who they were easily comfortable around, even in a short amount of time, Tomura even found himself a bit pleased to see you. You placed the treats you brought for them in the freezer behind the bar and finished your frozen one you were eating before smiling and greeting them back. You went over to each of them besides Tomura with tight hugs and joking comments. They enjoyed your chipper attitude once in a while so they didn’t mind. You were an ice breaker to them, distracting them from the angsty topics that normally surrounded them.

Turning towards the bar, Kurogiri had excused himself to the bathroom while the others ate at the couch. You looked to see Tomura eating at the bar alone, not that it was unusual. He knew that you always came to him last. You saved up the rest of your affection and attention for him because, to be quite honest most of the league, or whoever got the pleasure of seeing your interactions knew that Shiggy held you at a high pedestal. They knew you did the same. You both favored each other very much and it not like you try to hide it so the gang all got used to it. Striding over to his now standing figure, he was going to get some napkins before you opened your arms wide wrapping them around his shoulders and cooing at him.

“Mura baby, hi!” The nickname was one you used many times, he would of course dust anyone else who dared to use it on him. Closing his eyes, Tomura relaxed feeling your soft lips pepper light kisses over his scarred face. He became aware that you didn’t care for his appearance, especially when you first saw his face when he took off father one day. You were quite bold to spit out how attractive you found him, how handsome and sexy you thought he looked and that he should keep it off more often. He was not expecting that so the raging blush that covered his face was to be expected. He was teased for quite a while because of it but you didn’t care, you were only telling the truth that’s all.

Letting one of his arms wrap around your waist for a small hug, he tugged you a bit closer to him so he could feel your body pressed on his. Normally, with others in the room, you’d think he’d be embarrassed. No. The others were conversing with each other not even minding the intimacy their boss is showing with you since they were so used to it. You and Tomura weren’t together but you didn’t need a label. You both didn’t rush anything nor did you hide anything, you both cherished each other’s presence dearly and quite frankly it would be tiring to keep hiding it. You hummed while pressing your nose to his cheek soaking in the warmth of his rough skin. You broke from the hug and sat right next to him and started casual conversation.

Every once in a while, the league has slow days, but it’s days like this they cherish the most.
