Tokoyami is a reserved person so if he does get close to someone hes gonna covet them and spoil them and give them all the attention. And aoyama craves attention and validation so someone to coddle him would be perfect without needing to beg. Its hard for him to stand out from a group of equally outstanding individuals and he needs just one person to give him extra care to feel good about himself

It's so cool how both Ekko and Jinx are associated with birds, Ekko with Owls and Jinx with Crows and how they symbolize aspects of their character, Crows representing Jinx with Death and Rebirth and Owls representing Ekko with Wisdom and Vigilance but what's super interesting is that both an Owl can represent Death and Rebirth as well. Ekko and Jinx have so many parallels to one another, it feels like they were legit made for one another.

Also Owls are the only birds that can see blue🥹
