I have so many feelings about how the Jinx persona is basically the bastard child of Silco’s sneaky, theatrical ruthlessness and Vi’s bold, overwhelming violence, combined, enhanced, and deployed by Powder’s creative genius.

lowkey I’ve always thought that the Sand Sibs didn’t really look related so here’s me trying to finagle some family resemblance with their parents

EDIT: Wanted to add some notes about some details I keep in mind when drawing the siblings


1. Kankuro is the spitting image of his father, tho his face is more square and he has a broader nose. 


2. Gaara also has a strong resemblance to Rasa tho I give him softer and relatively more effeminate features while still trying to maintain his masculinity. His eyes are a bit bigger and are meant to take on a shape more like Karura’s


3. Temari is beautiful like her mother but her features are sharper and slightly more masculine bc of Rasa’s influence


4. Basically if you made a sliding scale with Rasa on one end and Karura on the other, it would be Kankuro > Gaara > Temari in order of resemblance to Rasa to Karura

I want more scenes of Fugaku/Itachi reminiscing how similar Sasuke is to his mother. I want Fugaku to look at his youngest son and see Mikoto in his gentle features, so different from his own that are hard and stiff. I want Itachi to watch Sasuke laugh where he’s sitting with Naruto and think about how their mother had the same shy smile, dimples and all. I want Naruto to watch these glimpses of easy kindness Sasuke never fails to make and feel confident that he must have gotten it from his mother compared to his more gruff father. Sasuke isn’t a ball of anger. He’s a ball of emotion that he’s incapable of feeling in any way other then deeply. He loves fiercely. When he’s angry it’s righteous. When he’s sad it crushes him. When he’s happy he feels it so vibrantly that he buries it in fear of losing control. Sasuke is so much more like his mother than we give him credit for and I wish we saw more of it.
