Life As We Know It - June 23, 2011
So far on this vast adventure that I've come to know as my internship, I have really enjoyed being out on my own. I have always been an independent person but this internship definitely put that independence to the test. Finding a place to live for 3 months in the middle of the worst economic year in history was quite a challenge. And considering the fact that I'm living in Charlotte, that's pretty surprising. I haven't gotten lost yet when traveling, which is always a good sign. I have explored the area surrounding my house a good bit and have even ventured to explore north Charlotte (I'm a daredevil, what can I say?). So we shall see just what this summer has in store for me. New internship, new friends, new fun. This is going to be a great summer.
