This is what I’m taking about. This puts even more evidence to my post about how Marinette’s parents are rich.

As for Juleka and Luka, even if Jagged isn’t their dad, their mom is still pretty influential. She was one of Jagged Stone’s main guitarists as well. Not to mention that they should be pretty rich, I mean how else would they afford a house-boat.

Headcanon: Collège Françoise Dupont is a private school.

A lot of the students there are from relatively wealthy and/or influential families. Like, that’s obviously not the only reason to have a private school, but it lines up. Chloé and Lila both have politician parents, and a lot of the time, politicians send their kids to private schools for security reasons. Also, do you really think André or Chloé would be okay with her going to public school?

Then there’s Adrien, Alya, Marinette, and Alix.

Adrien’s father is rich af and was initially dead set against his son going to school. He only agreed after Adrien ran away multiple times, and I bet that he wouldn’t have done so if it wasn’t for the school being a private school and only a block away from their house.

Alya’s mom, while not Agreste-level wealthy, probably makes a pretty good living at Le Grand Paris. Enough to send her daughter to private school.

The same can be said for Marinette; her parents’ bakery is next to a park and almost right next to the Seine. If they can afford that piece of property, they can afford to send their daughter to private school.

Lastly in the “canonically wealthy parents” category is Alix, whose father is a historian at the Louvre and the director of the King Tut exhibit. That’s a pretty well-paying job, and given the thing with the pocket watch, I’d be willing to bet there are some other inventions the family is picking up royalties on.

Also, there’s the theory of Juleka being Jagged Stone’s daughter, but that’s another post.

Mireille and Aurore are both public television personalities, so they probably make enough money independently to go to private school, and their parents would probably want them to go for their safety.

And where did I mention that I believed that Marinette was the worst person to ever live? All I said was that she’d finally get the consequences for her actions. But in the end, it’s my life. I’ll write what I want to write.

Marinette getting jealous of Percy because she thinks that she’s trying to steal Adrien from her but in reality, Percy has a boyfriend (maybe Roy Harper from DC?) and Adrien just likes the fact that Percy treats him normally.

But Marinette doesn’t know that so she tries to sabatoge Percy the way she tried to sabatoge Lila and Kagami. (It’s canon so you guys shouldn’t be mad with the small amount of salt I’m pouring towards Marinette. She kinda deserves it).

It backfires, obviously. And Marinette finally gets consequences for her actions. Her friends finally realize that they’ve been encouraging Marinette with her obsession towards Adrien and they vow to be better.

There won’t be a lot of salt. Only for Marinette because there’s barely any salt fics about her and she’s by far one of the most problematic characters in the show.

Should I write it? Cause I’ve been wanting to write some good Marinette bashing fanfic for a while. Even if it’s just a little. Not to mention that it involves my favorite fandom, which is Percy Jackson!! And one of my favorite tropes, which is a genderbent character.

Marinette definitely has a big following on social media.

- She is friends with a famous supermodel

- Her best friend is the founder of the Ladyblog

- Her design for Jagged Stone’s cover got #1 for the billboard thing

- One of her designs got featured on broadway and the Queen of Fashion praised her work and was willing to take her to New York as an intern

- Her parents own one of Paris’s famous bakeries and she was even featured on a show with Jagged Stone

I’m literally thinking of making a fanfic with Marinette as an influencer, I feel like it would be an interesting fanfic

Agreed. We all know that Marinette can be a bit extra when it comes to people liking Adrien, which is honestly stupid because Adrien is a model.

Of course Alya just assumes Marinette is jealous.

Lets go down the list of shit Marinette has done cuz of her big ass obsessive crush on Adrien.

Stolen his phone.

Keeps fucking day dreaming about him and barely functioning like a human being when hes around.

Stalked him a few times.

Broken into his house

Has his schedule on her wall and pictures of him all over.

Planned out their marriage and shit??

Joined with CHLOE against Kagami.

Stolen Kagamis fucking phone just to snoop through it!

Followed Lila and Adrien just cuz he was gonna be alone with some girl.

So yeah, if I was Alya Id assume she was just jealous/over reacting too.

And Alya only said ONE thing about that in Chameleon but she still listened to her. So Alya salt is ridiculous.
