Breaking the news to Lionel again... pt 1

Diamond wakes up the next day dreading life. She has to meet with Lionel to discuss her pregnancy and she is on the verge of an anxiety attack.

Lionel has a penthouse across town in San Myshuno next to the art district. Diamond makes it there in 15 minutes.

*knock on the door*

Lionel answers the door after a few moments , shirtless.

Lionel: Morning. Come on in. You look petrified. Are you alright?

Diamond: *snicker* You shouldn't answer the door like that.

Lionel: Like what? When you get like me and pay $10,000 a month for a place, you can do whatever you want.

Lionel: Can I get a hug?

Diamond: Sure.

Lionel: What did you need? Do you want some of this anaconda?

Diamond: Omg *eye roll* Look .....

Diamond reaches in her bra and pulls out the test.

Lionel: What? *chuckle* Why else would you - What is that?

Diamond: I have something to tell you. But I can't deal with you freaking out. I am under a lot of stress as it is. Can you promise you won't yell at me?

Lionel: I .... don't know. But I can try. Let me get a drink first....

Diamond: I swear if you yell at me I may just stab you!

Lionel: You need to shut that sh*t up. This is My house!

Diamond: Lionel come ON!

Lionel: Don't rush Me Diamond. I see you look bugged out and I'll think twice of my response. But don't come in here barking orders. I could be in a meeting right now. You could have told me this over the f**king phone, since you want to be so rude.

Diamond stands in the kitchen, visibly upset and stressed. Lionel pours himself a shot glass and continues to talk sh*t to Diamond with his back turned to her.

Diamond: *answers phone* Hello? Hey Tami. Ok.... yes. I will make something to eat. I am going to meet up with Lionel later to let him know what's going on also... alright. I will let you know.

Had Diamond not had answered Tami's call, she was going to come over and force feed her. That's fine that she is processing her feelings, but she has to make sure she feeds that growing baby. OMG... those words sound weird. Especially for Diamond. But in a few hours, Diamond is going to visit Lionel to let him know the news. She is hoping for the best. Waiting any longer is not an option as she is almost in her second trimester and starting to show.

Preparing food causes Diamond so much stress. But Takeout is unhealthy, and Tami won't let her eat it.

Diamond hands Lionel the pregnancy test.

He just stands there in silence.

He has a shocked look on his face at first.

Diamond: It's positive.

Lionel doesn't say anything. He only studies the test. He goes through several emotions silently. He doesn't want to break his promise of not yelling at her again.

Tami: This is that really big meeting I told you about and this should be the last one. I will be signing the contract for our second location. The other meetings were preparation talks.

Terrie: Yes! That is great news. I am ready to go.

Tami: I am signing on for the location in Newcrest. But independently, I am looking at a third location in Del So Valley. Two of you will be stationed to run those locations.

Samara: I have had my bags packed for months waiting for this moment. Congrats! I can not wait for the grand opening. I have decoration ideas already in my scrapbook if you want to see it.

Tami: I am excited for you ladies and this new journey. I need to find the next flight out. Thanks for the updates.

Shanice: Nah, thank you for the updates and congrats.

*Phone Rings*

Tami: Got my deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste....

Tami: Hey baby. No I am about to catch a flight to sign the salon contracts...yes....I...let me call you back. Uh.. 2 days. Ok. Love you.

This can't be happening!- Diamond - Pt 2

Diamond: You don't understand what I'm going through Tami. You are in a loving relationship. Your man probably can not wait to get you pregnant. Me? My man never answers my calls. He's cheating with prostitutes and now I'm pregnant by my old abusive boss who probably hates women. I'm nauseous all the d*mn time. Now this man here says there aren't any options for abortion. Excuse me for being hit with all these emotions at once.

Dr. Todd : This town here doesn't provide those services but you may be able to find a medical center elsewhere.

Diamond: And who said I have money to travel? My gosh. Thanks for nothing. Sir.

Diamond storms out of the office.

Tami: Omg... I am so sorry. I promise she never acts like that.

Dr. Todd: No worries. I have seen it all. It is a very stressful situation. I get it. Good luck.
