The suffering of my family has worsened with the ongoing war, especially in the displacement camps. They are now living a life that resembles hell. My family is enduring misery and hardship after the war destroyed their simple home.

Just looking into my mother's eyes, you can see that all the world's sorrows have been placed upon her. It's as if life's circumstances have conspired against my family, taking away my father, who was their beacon of strength and support, and cruelly snatching away my brother's daughter and my sister's daughter without reason.

Despite all this, these harsh circumstances did not stop, nor did they show any mercy to what remains of my family. Instead, they went on to destroy their home, which once united us and held our simple memories.

In the end, they became homeless in displacement camps that show no mercy and provide none of life's basic necessities, where privacy is nonexistent, and they have to wait in long lines just to get some water to drink or a simple meal to eat.

Hello, I'm Ola, a graduate student from the faculty of science - Al-Azhar University in Gaza Palestine. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. As you reading my message, myself and my family, “my mother, father, three sisters, and my little brother,” are fighting death in northern Gaza and trying to survive under all kinds of suffering including but not limited to destruction, fear, and instability, starvation, thirst, and poverty.

For nine months until now, we have been struggling to get proper food after prices increased by 15 to 20 times, struggling to have clean water for use and drinking. We lacked security and stability as we were forced to evacuate our house and left everything behind. Then we had to move at least three times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.
