i usually don't get political on this blog - not because i don't want to get on the bad side of potentially conservative followers, but because sometimes thinking about how wrong the world can be exhausts me. this has always been my safe space, where i can sit for a while and forget all about the bad and the pain that surrounds us. that will not change, i have other spaces to share my views and i frankly don't believe this to be a simple political statement, but it must be said.

this system is wrong, corrupted and unjust. it is time that we stand for what is right, good and fair. those who can must use their privilege to help all those who are being silenced. this cannot be allowed to happen again.
