In your shuttle!Starscream and minibot!Megatron AU, I can't help but think what Skyfire and Optimus would be like in regards of their relationships with Starscream and Megatron (respectively). Like would Skyfire and Starscream have been closer since they're both shuttles? And since many think that Starscream is in charge of the decepticons, would that mean Optimus' and Megatron's rivalry would be little to non-existent?

I haven't given much thought to starscream and skyfire because I'm just not that familiar with skyfire beyond fandom osmosis. Supposedly they would still friends? I can't think of much reasons for why they wouldn't be.

As for the other question, I personally think Megs wouldn't be that obsessed with OP because he has to focus on cooperating with Starscream, who sucks at long-term planning. I'm also toying with the idea that the war in this world isn't even going to be Megs vs OP, but Decepticons vs. the tougher-than-previously-thought Senate Autobots. OP might not become OP at all, just some dude.
