💌 dakota barron is a whiz kid. a star student. an academic king. graduated high school top of his class, has awards from robotics and computer clubs scattered amongst his other academic accolades– AP classes, honors club, early scholarship offers. he's tall, and lanky, with a mess of curly hair and he has to wear glasses when he's reading or staring at a computer screen.

💌 he's hooked immediately, and it doesn't take long for him to spiral into desperately needing any ounce of attention you can give him. he's able to sort of curb it for awhile– keeping the worst of his pathetic, desperate need inside. but...

💌 before you know it, you've got a lanky ass, 6'4" nerd following you around. he'll help with your homework, he'll carry your books, get you some water, whatever he has to do to chase that high that your attention seemed to give him. can you blame him? you're just so.... fucking unbelievable, so goddamn perfect. why would he want to be anywhere else?

💌 suddenly its like everything pales in comparison to you, and he's completely out of his depth. he doesn't know how to confront this– there isn't an equation he can solve or a code he can write to figure out how to behave around you. there isn't a textbook he can study and memorize front to back about you. the last thing he wants to do is fuck everything up and be seen as nothing more than a freak, a loser, a nobody in your eyes. so, maybe he overcompensates a little.

💌 you don't even have to ask, and he's already doing things for you. need someone to help you study? he's putting together flashcards and entire notebooks worth of notes, intricately put together and specifically engineered to help you absorb the information better.

💌 want him to grab you a drink or a snack from the vending machines? don't worry, he'll pay for it, don't even think about pulling your wallet out.

💌 need someone to literally just do your homework for you? he'll do it, darling. he'll give you all the answers, all you have to do is look at him with those pretty eyes and he's handing over everything.

💌 he'll do all of it, anything you might need, and all you have to do is pay attention to him. thank him. talk to him, look at him, say his name, fuck– any crumb of your attention is like his lifeline, and he finds that he can't go a fucking day without it.

💌 weekends are the worst, especially in the first few weeks before he manages to get your phone number– just in case you need help with homework or something, obviously. he starts to wonder if maybe it wouldn't be so bad for him to follow you home... peek in through a window or find some way to set up a camera. he could learn how to pick a lock, right? he's always been a fast learner... he just needs to see you.

💌 it's definitely not helping his case that his brain almost seems to stop functioning whenever you're around. he can't get enough of you, the way you sound, the way you smell, the way you move– but all he has to do is think about you and suddenly he's going haywire. he's never had to sneak away to jerk off in a public bathroom before, but now it's happening often.

💌 the amount of times he almost gets caught is honestly astounding, but mostly because he manages to find the one ounce of self control left to keep quiet until he's alone again. honestly, he's just 'lucky' it doesn't take him long to finish– not when he's thinking about you, wishing it was your hands, your mouth, your anything.

💌 he's ashamed every time. just like he's ashamed every time he lays awake in bed at night and thinks of you– and not innocently. just like he's ashamed when he starts swiping your things... little things, your favorite pen or something you were fidgeting with, maybe a chapstick or something. he just can't fucking help himself when it comes to you, darling.

💌 he needs more, and he knows it. he's starting to think that he might lose it, might already be losing it– every time he sees you, his chest aches. he's not sure if that's more painful, or the way he strains in his pants whenever you bend over, or lean in just the right way.

jungwon is just as competitive as you are. the only difference is that you're terrible at all kinds of games, even uno. so he makes things easier when he sees that you're trying too hard or a bit down because it's pretty obvious that you will lose. jungwon throws away his wild draw cards, even though he knows you'll shove your winnings in his face.
