Happy Endings is updated!  AU where Prowl and Jazz adopt baby Rung and Whirl.

Excerpt:

Prowl went through the steps of loading the cleaner, filling the reservoir with cleanser, and where to put them.

Prowl watched Whirl, focusing so carefully on not dropping or crushing the cubes, and made a decision.

He dropped one.

“Bolts!” he muttered, pretending to be annoyed as he lifted the now dented and cracked cube.  “Oh well, easily replaced.”  He tossed the cube into the trash and kept loading.  Later, as they were taking the clean cubes out, Whirl fumbled one as well and it crashed to the floor.

“Pit!” he said and bent down.  He lifted it, looked at the crack, and tossed it in the trash as well.  “You’ll need a new set before we get them all clean,” he said and Prowl smiled.

Mission accomplished.

A more responsible individual should take this keyboard away from me.  I got a great idea for story 1, opened the doc, found 5,000-ish words from another story I’d tacked on the end, started working on story 2, all the while story 3 is looking at me from the second tab since I promised to try working on THAT one today.

I thought up a great plot JUST before I had to leave the house a few weeks ago.  It was so good and flowed really well.  I felt very witty.  I cleverly typed up an outline of the scene though, so I wouldn’t forget.  Here’s exactly what I typed:

“Nice ultra magnums be nice

Am I not being nice?

Nope

Uh, I don’t know?

It’s okay! Pat pat

Someone- smokescreen or bulkhead or both had painted colored lines”

Excellent.  Good job brain.  With such a detailed outline I hardly have to write at all.

Not to harp on how poorly my brain prioritizes, but I have five stories open and one of them is a Christmas special.  In July.

If anyone reads this and is also wondering if a story is abandoned, it is not.  Chances are chapter 1,3, and 9 are written and instead of working on chapter 2, I’ve decided to chip away at chapter 5.

My focus is as fleeting and ethereal as morning mist on Mercury.  As difficult to pin down as a mirage.  As annoying as fuck.

I just wanna finish a chapter of something before the end of the day...

The quick 1,500 word idea that grew is now 6,466 words and growing.  It’s like James and the Giant Peach, we’re all gonna be able to hollow it out and live in it soon.
