On NPR they were talking to this guy who specializes in created languages, who does all the languages for like Game of Thrones, Penny Dreadful, and a bunch of sci-fi and fantasy movies.

I applauded when the interviewer asked the guy if he ever considered using obscure native languages because “It’s not like anybody would notice,” and he scoffed like “Are you asking me if I’m gonna take someone’s cultural heritage and ascribe it to aliens or demons or elves? Because the answer is no.”

Saying her eyes are boring or ugly for being brown or amber whatever and complimenting aerith's for being green/blue sounds racist to me idk. You can just tell their fandom is full of racist republicans, I really hate going there but...

Brown eyes get a bum rap a lot in fiction. They're either described with food terms or used for antagonists like dark eyes are evil.

I think brown eyes are pretty. I think Tifa's eyes are pretty. I did wonder why no one seemed to think it was odd she has red eyes, but that just seems to be a colour in FF7. Vincent has red eyes too. In AC they do look more brown than red, but really, who cares? She pretty either way.

Trying to say one eye color is superior is dodgy af since the majority of people with brown eyes are Asian, while green is European.

Some people's racism is showing.

History: 

Vivi is a 21 year old college student who lives with her parents, while she works at a antique shop with her grandma. She likes to hunt ghosts with her boyfriend Lewis, who she had met in high school where he helped find her classes and do homework together. After graduation, they had dates together and spend as much time they wanted.  As a kid, she had found a dog who was in an alleyway with white fur, red and black on his head, with black on his tail and named him Mystery. Her parent didn’t like their daughter picking up stray dogs, but she promised that she would be responsible with him and they let her keep Mystery. She met Arthur at a workshop where Lewis had put him in the Mystery Skulls gang as a technician.
