So that author receives your cash and word of mouth but the fanfic writer you follow just sits around and waits for you to like, read quietly, then unlike without a comment, critique etc. And that’s understandable. Be kind. Offer your fanfic writer 30 seconds to squeal or be constructive and fair. It’s worth more than the cash the best selling author receives and I guarantee you, the fanfic writer will be a bigger fan of yours than the best selling author ever could.
