Practice Makes Perfect Sims 4 Trait

As a warning to others, since the last update, sims that have the "Practice Makes Perfect" trait can cause multiple last exception errors. At first, just when you log into that household. Later, the whole save. Removing the trait from the sim will correct all of the errors after you save the game, exit, & reload.

I spent yesterday thinking it was a mod conflict or an outdated mod issue. It wasn't. I can confirm I've had this happen in two different saves now.

This may not be an issue for everyone. Just be aware - if you can't find what is causing the last exception - check if you have any sims with the "Practice Makes Perfect" trait. This appears to be true in my game as of October 5th, 2024.

Sims 4 Life and Death Expansion Pack: Story Prompt List

Hey y'all. I hope y'all didn't miss me too much but I am back with another prompt list for those of you who want to start writing stories on Tumblr and those who wish to find inspiration to play the sims 4 with the life and death EP

- Prompt One: Your sim is a funeral director. After a well deserved break recovering from a messy break up, your sim gets hired to plan a funeral for a family. Upon research, your sim is shocked to find out the funeral is for none other than their ex's mother, who just so happens to be one of the reasons your sim and their ex broke up.

- Prompt Two: After laying the family matriarch to rest, your sim's family seem really eager to read the will. When the lawyer shows up, something feels off. The lawyer pulls out a torn piece of paper, gives it to your sim to read and walks out. Your sim seems to be the only one who understands what is written while the family starts fighting and arguing about the will.

- Prompt Three: Your sim's sibling passes away and everyone is gathered around their corpse as the grim reaper does his thing. Your sim attempts to plead for their life but is met with a scythe a few inches away from their neck. The reaper gets the job done and goes on his way. Determined to bring them back, your sim decided to join the Undertaker career. Be the best intern and get your sibling's soul back to their body.

- Prompt Four: Your sim has been murdered. They are fortunate enough to be reincarnated into whomever they please, so they reincarnate as someone close to their murderer...

- Prompt Five: Your sim has been in the same toxic relationship for the past five years. Your sim begins to lose hope in love... That is until their toxic partner kicks the bucket. They are crying and getting ready to plead for their lover's life... But an encounter with a charming grimtern changes their mind...

- Prompt Six: After living a long, fulfilling life, your sim now wanders around as a ghost. Scaring the sh*t out of the living, messing around with objects, it's the same thing. One day, your sim finds out about the newest resident in Ravenwood. Your sim is rather intrigued, ready to cause some chaos when they realize this new resident can see and speak to ghosts...

- Prompt Seven: Your sim is a mortician. The job is as mundane as mundane can be. One day, your sim is embalming a corpse that has a rose tattoo with a nice short poem on it. As the days go by, your sim notices a recurring pattern with the corpses they tend to: all have a rose tattoo with what seems to be the continuation of a poem that eventually sums up into a story... about a cult.

Please note that these are based on what we know so far. The list will be updated the more info comes out about the EP.

Please reconsider using poses from Simsulani, since she steals hardworking creators their poses and adjusts them just a little and even asks money for them. But you can see, mostly in the hands that this pose is definitely mine. (I really see it's my crooked posed hand! Or the bend indexfinger from Akira she still kept in... hahaha seeing flaws from my own poses and everything!)

hello! i got to collab with @vevisims for a fun food cas challenge where we gave each other two prompts, and we made sims inspired by it! Vevi is someone i really admire for her gorgeous sims and edits, so i was super happy she asked me to do this (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

The challenge is very simple: ask a friend to make 1-2 food-fruit sims and see what comes of it! or you can pick any food of your choice and make a sim inspired by it too, either way it's fine!

Vevi suggested dragon fruit 🐉 and fried egg 🍳 for me, and in turn i gave her bubblegum 🍭 and chocolate-mint ice cream🍨! Please go see what she did on her side of the challenge here ♡ ♡

Are there any gameplay challenges that you can recommend that are not legacy challenges? I feel a bit burned out atm and am looking for something fun to do until motivation for my regular savefiles returns.

Facing your future is no easy decision. You don't know yet, that this will be his first mistake for the evening.

The Dollmaker - (Short AU)

He was careful when he assembled her parts; careful carving her sensitive and miniscule areas, molding it into shape, digging his fingers to make crevices, almost intimately, and patting it gently, as if reassuring it. He was gently when he popped each limb in its sockets.

He made sure it was accurate–he wanted her to be the best –the most beautiful. He bought her a sparkly dress, a pair of lacy socks, and pointe shoes. He bought her pearls, and he fashioned a corsage with a flower that will never wither, just for her.

He painted her face; added humanly details. Her eyelids–painted shimmering pink, glittering when the rays of the light hit it. Cheeks were rosy, lips were glossy.

And then, with his own magic, he breathed life to her.

She wobbled; he caught her. He let out a chuckle. She moved her mouth, trying to mimic him, but there was no sound. So, he kissed her.

With the kiss, she gained her voice. Her voice, small, let out a soft noise. He looked at her dearly.

“Shall we test your limbs?”

She hummed.

They danced.

“Aren’t you a pretty doll?”

Indeed, she is.

Day III - Pretty Doll

A pretty doll pliant under the hands of her maker...

I feel like mindlessly playing in my main save once I'm back from my parents. I love them dearly but staying at their place is always a bit exhausting for my mental health.

I visited my sister yesterday and we did a crime dinner with some of her co-workers. I had to play a shady businessman (who was constantly flirting with one of the other suspects 😆). I'm not very good at acting (or rather, I get super nervous when around people I don't know well. I'd say my acting-skills are not to bad. It's the social anxiety that makes it difficult.), but I had lots of fun regardless!
