I just found your tumblr blog, and i have watched some of your lovely Youtube Life Series animatics, and i must say, they're great! my favorite is the Last Life animatic with the song "other side". My question is, how would one go about picking out songs to go with characters? because i cant do it

Oh man, I tend to have the opposite problem. I have so many songs I can super vividly imagine animatics to and just not enough time to make them all.

Here's usually what happens, I have a song that I really like and I'll find a way to make it work for the characters. Usually if you pull it off well enough, it will seem like the song was perfectly made for them. Sometimes vibes are all you need, the lyrics don't need to be a perfect match.

FAKEMONS: this pokemon has to be based on some kind of cultural aspect of the real life location this region is based on.

POKEMON: none of the three times we introduced a mime pokemon were in france. that’s where we put the luchador pokemon.
