I gotta be honest: krisnix is SOOO interesting to me. I’m narumitsu all the way but I cannot deny Kristoph and Phoenix had toxic sex at some point. It’s just how it is.

Would me saying that I ship it be the correct term? I’m not sure. It’s not endgame for me and I don’t really see a way where they actually manage a stable long lasting relationship(though I’d be interested to see why anyone else may think it’s possible under the right circumstances, I’m open). Just saying that my interest is SO high rn, because I think that toxic ships are decently valid(not proship ones…ew…but I mean ones that you know the people aren’t right for each other, but they tried and it’s worth trying to understand how that all went down).

I absolutely love tearing into the toxic early parts of narumitsu as much I love them being soft, so krisnix being pretty much all toxic got me eating it up. I live for seeing their relationship fall apart, how it fosters and develops only to crash. It’s like watching that car crash you can’t look away from.

So essentially if anyone’s got like krisnix fic with some character analysis…don’t be shy.

For those ace attorney and danganronpa fans I got THE questions for you: is Byakuya more like Miles or Kristoph?

Since a lot of people seem to agree/want some recs, here’s some fics of Phoenix being unhinged about Miles:

Fear & Delight by ghostcatamount. It's set basically between the second and third games of the trilogy. Phoenix realizes Miles is going to leave for Europe again and uses some magatama fuckery to force him to stay(a soul bond). It's pretty dark, not too fucked up, but enough where it feels right(heh Wright). I think it does a good job at balancing Phoenix's weird feelings of possession over Miles, but also his fear of abandonment. Also something to note is that Miles is having a crisis over being forced to stay, basically looks like shit at the moment, and Phoenix still wants him...pretty fitting.

i'll meet you halfway by raened. NOW THIS ONE, oh boy. It's deliciously fucked up. This one is actually during the seven year gap, which is pretty interesting considering Miles and Phoenix(relationship-wise) are in a pretty decent spot, considering each other good friends and all. Just creates so much more fuckery when Phoenix is still a stalker after all that, and possibly, even worse than before(with breaking and staying in Miles' place). It's got a twist, it's got Phoenix gushing over his boy-crush, and it's got some smut: the fucked up kind when you're jerking off to the thought of your best friend while you're in his house. Definitely the type of fanfiction you read twice to soak up all the details.

on the rocks by ghostcatamount(get used to their user you're probably gonna see it for a third time/funny). Yeah...it's smut. But most importantly: we got Bratworth and Feenie being stupid 20 year olds who do NOT know what they're doing. Well, Phoenix kind of is, but in that 'one track mind' sort of way where his focus is all set on keeping Miles, even if it includes pulling a fire alarm or making spare copies of Miles' house keys. The usual(/j).

Heart of Glass by roxolotl. This one is probably the most fucked up(I think). Deluded fantasies Feenie-era Phoenix has about Miles that are very far from healthy(please PLEASE read tags, do that with all of these. I know the purpose of these fics is that they're super fucked up but don't go into areas that will make you feel too uncomfortable). There's some self awareness at the end that I very much appreciate.

A little bonus: a bitter draught by ghostcatamount. At fic set pretty much right after the seven year gap. Most of the focus is actually the failed kidnap-and-murder plot Kristoph has, which I found really interesting how Miles and Kristoph tried to dance around how the hammer will inevitably come down. There's a little something at the end though :).

There’s not enough fanfiction of Phoenix just being unabashedly obsessed with Miles as he has been for probably years(because I read it all). I wanna see inside his crazy little brain and hear all the ways he’s justifying his obsession and gushing over Miles, how that leads him to change the projection of his life to just save him. If anyone deserves to be a fucked up little fanboy it’s him.
