Too many questions run through his mind, until the sound of his baby sniffling tears through him, letting his head snap up, only to stiffen when he realises his baby cries in the arms of the officer who talked to him.

"Max, is this your mama?" the officer gently coaxes the head of the young child away from his neck, pointing with his head towards Christian who, unable to comprehend the situation, just stares at them.

With a nod, Max starts to cry again, now demanding to be held by his mother, scared of not being able to be held by him anymore.

If Max wouldn't have called him, Christian is sure he would never see his baby again, no matter how much he pleads with Torger to let him see Max at least through a video call or no matter how the court forces them to let Christian see Max, as it's his right as his mother.

Having Max back in his arms, he finally sobs, pulling him closer to him, both crying together after the fear of separation forever still lingering in their bones and blood.

The officers take statements from everyone but seeing as the child was crying and shivering, crying out for his mother, the police were quick to judge the situation in favour of Christian.

Well, first off, I'm glad you liked the snippet and I promise I'll either post more snippets or write the whole story soon.

But for now, let me paint a small picture:

So, Christian and Toto were together for 6 years but had a small rough patch in 2016, causing them to take a break. After that, they reconciled and were, once again, inseparable.

Then, in late 2018/early 2019, Christian found out he was pregnant, which is completely unusual (it's not abo) because men normally don't just get pregnant - he decides to keep the baby and go with the instructions to ensure a safe and healthy pregnancy.

On September 30, 2019, the sweet baby Max was born and as we all know, COVID hits, causing Christian and Max to be under constant safety, ensured by Toto who works from home but also part-time at the factory.

This is when things start to turn bad - Toto spends less and less time with Christian and Max, leaves the house for way longer than necessary and even avoids contact with them on some days.

Christian wanted to believe in a happy ending, but he gets splashed in the face when Toto packs his stuff one night, after waking up Christian, and telling him that he moved on.
