I think one thing that will forever be stuck with me is the way ship names are used.

I've seen many posts and fanfics with "Lestappen" or "Norstappen" but they mostly include Top!Max.

I'm not sure if it doesn't matter but the way I've learnt it in my previous fandoms (*cough* K-Pop once was really strict about it *cough*) was the following:

Example → Lestappen

The first name (Le for Leclerc) is for the top/dom

The second name (stappen for Verstappen) is then for the bottom/sub

Like I said, I'm not sure if this doesn't matter anymore, it's just something I'll forever look at and be confused about ._.

So, what I've thought about was that Lewis was sold to illegal child trafficking networks from a young age (his parents needed the money and didn't want to have an extra person to fight for) and he landed in many bad places.

One place was an illegal lab where the people experimented on children to create war machines, the perfect weapon against police etc. and Lewis fell victim to various technologies implanted into his brain/body. So now, he's still a normal human (looks wise) but he can easily access the internet in his mind which is why he was so efficient in catching criminals from the urbex crime scene

As for his physical strength, nothing really changed except that he maintains his muscles and his appearance better than other humans

May I say that this song and a trip to a company fair was the inspiration for the Urbex Killer AU?

Max and Lewis have to work together as you know and Lewis is reluctant to work with an "Apex Criminal" like Max but Max never really tried to run away and Lewis always thought that Max would wait to get him one day but nope.

During a storm, they hide inside an abandoned jail cell and Max tells Lewis to sleep while he'll guard him but obviously, Lewis doesn't trust him and tries to stay awake, only to fall asleep and wake up to a clean blanket and pillow to be wrapped around him and Max still guarding.

Lewis thinks it's a coincidence (he just doesn't want to admit how hard his heart hammered) and Max never talks about it either!

Only at the end of their mission does it come up and Max only tells him that he couldn't let him freeze to death in a place he shouldn't even be (hiding the fact that Max's concerned about his well-being)
