Driving over the finish line, seeing his team cheering for him and hearing them screaming congratulations into his ear, Max smiles. He did it, he won the championship!

But guilt and sadness promptly followed his high - he ripped away Lewis' fair title and he celebrates this win while he should feel fear.

Fear of losing custody over his stepdaughter, he should fear not being seen as a good stepfather, a cheating driver and an unfair champion.

"Maxy, you did it!" a small voice cheers in his ears and his fear get erased, tears now flowing down his cheeks and gosh, he never wanted to leave his car as fast as now.

To be finally out of the car, he drove past cheering fans, some were sad or disappointed, but most of them were happy to see him driving past.

When he arrives at the pit, his eyes are glued to the small girl on top of Christian Horner's shoulders, green eyes looking in his direction.

She reminds him of her mother, his beloved girlfriend and while parking, he notices Christian gently placing her down, over the actual barrier and she runs towards his now turned off car.

Waiting for him to be finished, she jumps a little bit, causing her cute little dress to flutter around a little bit. "You did it, Maxy, you did it!" she cheers as soon as he's out of the car.

Scooping her up into his arms, he walks up to his team who engulf him in warm hugs, the atmosphere light and cheerful, with the small girl securely wrapped in his arms.

When they were done with that, he walks towards the scale, the little girl standing next to him, holding his hand and looking up at him.

"Wanna take off," she points to his helmet and the Dutchman complies, bending down and helping her to unclip it before moving his head down so she can slide it off.

"We have to place it there," Max guides her to the small stands and helps her to position the helmet correctly before standing in front of it until they're called.

And while the two of them were walking away for interviews, the cameraman zooms into his helmet, having caught sight of something.

Under the Red Bull at the front, there's something written down in golden.
