they’re laying on top of sniper’s van, staring up at the night sky in the middle of the desert.

sniper says, “Do y’like stars?” to which spy replies, “Yes. They’re nice.”

the first panel shows spy turning to sniper with one bonbon in his right hand, hovering over sniper’s mouth. spy very calmly says “Say ‘Ah’.” to which sniper replies with a confused “Wot?”

spy, next to him, turns towards him. “What?”

it shows a view from behind sniper and spy, giving the viewer a look at the stars above them.

sniper elaborates, “When this is all over, what’ll happen to us?”

the third panel.

spy stares at sniper, seemingly unable to answer. to the side are small, multicolored depictions of spy, as if he’s choosing what to say back.

the blue thought looks away and says, matter-of-factly, “Then we part ways and never see each other again. Simple as that.”

the green thought looks skeptical and says, “You’ve never been the reminiscing type. Where is this coming from?”

the pink thought has a hand on his chin and says, “Hm. Do you expect me to marry you?”

the yellow thought stares, eyebrows knit, and says, “You mean after we’re found out and killed for breaking our contracts?”

the fourth panel.

spy says none of those. instead, he looks away and truthfully answers “…I’ve never thought about it.”

the fifth panel.

sniper scoffs, leaning back. he reaches for his glasses, while saying “Well. Maybe that’s a good thing.”

the sixth panel.

it only shows stars in the sky. one star is colored blue, and another is colored red.

spy asks, “…Have you thought about it?”

sniper replies, truthfully, “More than I’d like to admit.”

brutal is scowling, face dark. he’s growling a low “Grrr…” to his side is pure, who turns his head towards brutal and says sternly, “Brutal. Calm yourself.”
