You couldn't do anything to escape Sylus right now. You weren't expecting to be practically grabbed when you walked through the door, thinking that he had more nefarious purposes for taking you by the arm like that. You didn't expect to be laid out on the bed so gently as he starts to pepper you in kisses, making little noises as he continues to shower you in affection.

Truthfully, he had missed you since you hadn't been able to visit him for a while, citing work and other responsibilities. The photos that you sent him were barely enough for him to be satisfied with, feeling all these pent up emotions for you whenever you mssaged him.

He keeps you pinned under him, wrists put over your head as he continues to kiss you all over. He's not even biting you, his kisses fleeting and sweet as he tells you to visit him more often in the future. You're barely able to get a word in at all with the ferocity of his attention, deciding instead to keep it in the back of your mind for future reference/blackmail.

The quiet weekend morning was something of a luxury for Sylus who was so used to being busy, running his faction and everything. Today, however, all he wished to do was stay cooped up in his hotel room and spend his morning idly lying on his back with you lying on his chest, your head tucked under his chin.

“Hey, Sy..?”

The sound of your voice broke the comfortable silence, and Sylus's gaze, previously focused on the ceiling, shifted down to look at you.

"Mmh? What is it, sweetie?"

You looked up at him, your cheek pressed against his chest as your soft eyes gazed into his filled with affection for the crimson eyed man. "I love you."

Sylus's gaze softened, filled with a tenderness he only showed to the woman in his arms. Hearing those words, he felt a flutter in his heart, and his hand immediately came to rest on the crown of your head, fingers gently running through your soft locks.

"Hm. I love you too." He responded, his gaze returning to the ceiling as he wrapped his strong arms around you. Giving you a gentle squeeze, enjoying the feeling of your body against his. "Anything else you wanted to say or were you just being clingy again?"

You chuckled softly, nuzzling your cheek against his chest as you let out a small sigh, your eyes slowly fluttering close in contentment. "Just wanna say I love you, that's all."

Sylus's lips tugged into a small smile at your admission, his fingers continuing to run through your hair, gently massaging your scalp. "Is that so?"

He shifted slightly so you were pulled flushed against him, one of his legs hooked over yours, effectively trapping you within his hold.

"You've been so clingy lately," He continued, his smirk evident in his voice. "Miss me that badly this weekend, hm?"

You chuckled at his words, wrapping an arm around his chest as you made yourself comfortable in his embrace. "Maybe I just like spending time with you."

You paused for a moment before adding, "Plus, you have the best chest to lie down on."

At your words, Sylus let out an amused scoff, his chest puffed proudly.

"Is that all I am to you now?" He joked, he tightened his hold on you, pulling you even closer against him, his large frame dwarfing your smaller one. "Just a body pillow to lie upon?"

You giggled at his words, snuggling playfully against him, a sly smile played upon your lips.

"Hmm, not just a body pillow," You teased, your fingers tracing a gentle path over his pecs. "You're also a personal heater, human shield, and extremely talented stress reliever."

Sylus chuckled, a low, amused rumble in his chest at your words. Your fingers tracing over his pecs sent a small shiver through him and he immediately took your hand in his, effectively ceasing your soft caresses.

"You're far too cheeky," He muttered, bringing your hand up to his lips and pressing a gentle kiss against your knuckles. "One day your smartass mouth will land you in trouble, you know."

Your smirk widened at his words, your head tilting to the side as your sparkling gaze met his amused ones.

"But that's part of my charm," You replied, your tone teasing as you booped his nose playfully. "You wouldn't want me any other way, would you?"

Sylus's expression softened, his gaze drifting to the ceiling once more. He knew you were right, no matter how much your sass and back-talk annoyed him sometimes, he wouldn't have you any other way, ever.

"No, I suppose not," He admitted with a slight shrug, his fingers going back to idly playing with your hair, he gave you a gentle squeeze. "You can be quite a brat, though."

"A brat that you love," You teased back, sticking out your tongue at him. Shifting slightly in his embrace, you pressed your body more firmly against his, savoring the warmth of his body and the steady thump of his heartbeat against your ear. Your fingers resumed their gentle caresses over his chest, tracing invisible patterns on his skin.

Sylus rolled his eyes, the corners of his lips twitching upwards at your playful gesture.

"Unfortunately," He quipped, the word carrying a hint of affectionate amusement. His free hand came to rest on the curve of your hip, his thumb gently tracing circles over your skin through the fabric of your clothes.

The feel of you pressing against him, your cheek resting on his chest, your fingers tracing over his skin, all of it just made him want to cling to you a little tighter.

After a while of laying in each other's embrace, you and Sylus remained quiet. The room was filled with a comfortable silence, broken only by the sound of their breathing. 

Sylus's fingers continued to idly run through your hair as he held you close against him, feeling a sense of peace and contentment wash over him. With a soft smile, he gently placed a kiss on the top of your head before closing his eyes and basking in the warmth of your presence.

As his lips gently pressed against your head, a small smile tugged at your lips. You snuggled even closer, feeling a sense of comfort and security in his arms.

You relaxed in his embrace, your own hand coming to rest on his chest, feeling the steady thump of his heart. Your eyes drifted shut as you savored the moment. The peaceful silence, the warmth of his body against yours, the soothing rhythm of his breaths. It was moments like these that you treasured the most.

Time seemed to stand still as they laid together in the serene room. The world outside their small sanctuary faded away. It was just the two of them, wrapped up in their own bubble of love and closeness. 

Sylus would sometimes intentionally keep his hair messy while going out. It wouldn't be much maybe a cow lick or one of Mephisto's feather sticking out of his head. He knew it would bother you.

"I think you have a feather in your hair? Shouldn't you remove it before we head out?" You pointed out, trying your best not to be rude.

"Hmm fix it for me" he says bowing his head in front of you. But this cheeky crow intentionally didn't bend far enough. He enjoyed seeing you on your tippy toes with absolute concentration on your face.

"You know I can't reach you like this! Why are you so tall? For all I know you might be the descendant of a titan" you grumbled trying to pull him down.

Sylus leaned forward, his breath fanning over your face, his lips hovering over yours "is it that I am tall or that you are tiny, kitten?" His eyes sparked with mischief. Darting between your eyes and your lips. The slow caress of his hand on your back didn't go unnoticed either.

"I am not tiny. You are just a behemoth of a man. Now get lower and let me fix your hair" you tried to seem stern while fighting all those butterflies in your stomach and honestly you were losing.

He didn't say anything nor did he back away from you. He gracefully began dropping to his knees while keeping his eyes glued to yours. His hand slowly traveled from your back to settle on your hips and held on to you like a devotee praying

"You are the only one in this world who is able to order me around like this" he drawled seeming almost intoxicated just by the sight of you. You couldn't help but notice how his words seemed more like a confession than a statement. And that fact flooded your heart with warmth.

"And you wouldn't have it any other way" you said smiling and fixing his hair.

"And I wouldn't have it any other way" he repeated with absolute devotion and adoration in this eyes
