when we listened to this, we legit compared it so much to Stargate 😭🤣

Okay so it's been taking me 50 years to finish The Red Pyramid because real life keeps getting in the way, but at this point I'm far enough in that I've realized two things: 1) Carter and Sadie are basically child Tok'ra who are adamantly refusing to accept that they're hosts, and 2) this book is infinitely more entertaining than it already is if you just imagine Vala strutting around anytime Bast shows up
