i don't know man, i just wish that we could [suddenly realising i'm coming dangerously close to expressing a real and earnest thought instead of filtering everything through several layers of intangible running bits] blow up the entire world. or something.

Was playing monopoly last night on ft with someone (he has the board lay out memorized so I was just rolling for both of us on my switch then he’d tell me what he’d like to do, very fun way to play if you can’t actually play together) and he was on his way bankrupt. I owned the first two sides of the board. For like 40 minutes after each of my turns I would secretly trade with his piece without telling him, especially if he was approaching my side. He couldn’t see what I was doing and thought I was just thinking about which houses I wanted to build next. I’d take $1 from him and give him like $500 just so he could continue to play. After each time he landed on one of my properties he got over half back. Playing for fun is a lot more enjoyable than playing to win.
