The wedding. Nacho still couldn’t quite wrap his head around it. They were getting married. He was going to marry Lalo Salamanca. The thought set a little fire blazing low in his belly. It also made him extraordinarily anxious, a knot of nerves curling itself in his chest.

“Ignacio?”

“Yeah?” Nacho glanced up from the silk sample in his hands. It was smooth and cool, and it slipped against his skin like water. “Yeah, you can dress me up.”

“In a dress?” Lalo asked with a grin. “I bet white lace would look amazing on you.”

Lalo's steps were silent on the dirt.

He did the exact same journey a week ago. The place was just as serene as he remembered.

But this time, Lalo wanted to take a piece of him back home. Where he should be. Not here. Alone. Or maybe Lalo was the one feeling lonely.
