Oh my god I relate to this post so much! Ever since I watched Spider-Man Into The Spiderverse back in the summer of 2019 (I know pretty late) I have been a huge Marvel fan and more specifically a Spider-Man fan. It was up until around March that I found about Anti-Tony Starks and Anti-Steve Rogers and all that. At first I didn’t think of it much and did my best to stay away from it all. Around the time I respected both sides and thought both of them were right and wrong. I don’t know how this happened but one day I was scrolling through my Instagram and came across a post bashing Tony Stark. I let my anger get the best of me and started a whole ass argument with the person who made the post and a couple of other. 

One thing lead to another and before you know it I hate Team Cap and Team Iron-Man is the best!

This went on for a months and I created a Tumblr Account just solely based on bashing Team Cap and I read fanfics of Team Cap “getting what they deserved” religiously. I especially hated Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch for a few reasons. I didn’t know at that time but this whole anti’s and pro’s shit was taking a stroll on my mental health. I spent all night going on and on about how wrong Team Cap was and how they treated Tony like a liability than a teammate. 

Anyways it wasn’t until somewhere last month that I was watching YouTube when the TMNT 2012 theme song was on my recommendation. Me being curious decided to click on it and instantly I was reminded of childhood memories of me watching this show. 

Then I found out about ROTTMNT. Don’t know what happened but I decided to take a break from the Marvel Fandom and try to explore some other fandoms. Recently I have returned to the Marvel Fandom (somewhat) and decided to just this time truly stay away from the anti shit cause at this point I don’t even think I care anymore. But I’am still a huge Tony Stark fan.

You know I used to read anti Tony posts if they showed up while i was looking through a tag, but i never commented on them if they properly tagged it.

Now, I care about my mental health and if I realize a post is blatantly anti Tony, I'll just scroll right on past and carry on. It's really freeing actually! I've done the song and dance of fighting anti Tony's and team caps, I've had debates and while it was fun, i realized it was probably not the best thing for me to be doing.

Not saying people shouldn't have debates, in fact debating is actually really fun if handled correctly from both sides, but never be afraid to take a break if you feel you need it.

Also not saying I don't enjoy a good debate from time to time, im still very active and salty. Im ready to defend Tony at any cost, so antis watch out.
