Ill Have To Check This Author Out If This Is So.

I’ll have to check this author out if this is so.

Reasons Why I love Tolkien

Reason Number One: He wrote strong female characters into his work before women really had a voice and his women are still stronger than many women writers invent today.

Reason Number Two: Tolkien was an amazing linguist and inventor. Many of his languages stem from others (Quenya was modeled after Finnish) but they are all original and provide such a rich depth to his work.

image

Reason Number Three: Tolkien invented an entire mythology and provided a rich history for all of his worlds. No one had ever written an entire invented mythology just for books before and his mythology was indeed very detailed.

image

Reason Number Four: Tolkien drew and designed maps. Maps are awesome. I love all of the visual imagery shown in these maps and how detailed everything is that Tolkien thought up.

image

Reason Number Five: Tolkien did not use the common, perfect heroes. Instead, he used ordinary, unlikely people to accomplish heroic feats. Everyone had to work together to save the world; Elves, Dwarves, and Men had to get along. But, it was all because of the brave Hobbits that the quest succeeded. “Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.”

There are many other reasons why I love Tolkien’s works so much, but these are my top five!!!

you really don't need to answer this if needed, but i'm a bit lost, and you seem to know more than i in this regard. i'm a member of the ainu diaspora and have been trying to find somewhere an attush robe could be made for me and family members (obviously by someone who is also ainu). i don't really mind where they are at this point as just having something like that to call my own would be worth any price or waiting period. iyairaykere

If my visits serve well, then I believe you can get the attush clothes in much of Aynu Mosir (Hokkaido) & in such cities as in Shiraoi, Niputay (Nibutani), Uskes (Hakodate [also where my brother lives]), Satporopet (Sapporo), & Endo-kotan (Tokyo). All of the cities mentioned except Endo-Kotan are in Hokkaido. If possible, turn to Ainu run businesses & museums with gift shops & you should be able to find the clothes you want in yond shops.

Before the canon: the non-European women who founded philosophy – Dag Herbjørnsrud | Aeon Essays
Philosophy was once a woman’s world, ranging across Asia, Africa and Latin America. It’s time to reclaim that lost realm

If that’s so, then what’s to say that the whole gender spectrum couldn’t try taking it up? Nonetheless, these would be great to keep in mind.

I found this one recently, & it’s beautiful. But, I heard that you actually need special permission to be in there even if you’re a citizen of Rossiya. Even so, I would like to get the entry forms & go, & you should definitely give travel to my northern neighbour a try (especially beyond the big cities of Moscow, St Petersburg, & Vladivostok).

In Niigata, A Quest for Unique Islands and Local Food | JAPAN Forward
Off the beaten path, Niigata is a great place to see how ordinary Japanese spend their holidays. From Niigata City to Sado Island, the prefecture offers much to see, learn, and (especially) eat.

Until my editor sent me this tidbit, I had no idea that this could seem like such a great place beyond the occasional descriptions from classmates & colleagues.
