When they first left the Vault, Sunny and Collin had very different feelings about the situation

Sunny, to her knowledge, had just lost everything her home, her family, her entire life, she truly had nothing left. Except for the man who had rescued her from her icy prison. She clung onto him like a lifeline. The only thing keeping her from just collapsing on the ground and letting herself rot on the floors of that vault

Collin had just found his long dead sister. Trapped in an icebox, having lost her entire world. To her, it had felt like yesterday. To him, it was a lifetime ago. He was confused at the situation, angry at whoever had done this, determined to help,

and selfishly, he couldn't help but feel happy

We were living a quiet life. I always wished that my children would become doctors and engineers. Suddenly, our lives turned into a nightmare. This is my home after October 7. Now we hope that this war will end and we will return to our homes as we were, safe. Now we are lying in one of the streets in a tent in Deir al-Balah. I hope that you, my brothers, will help me by donating a little so that my innocent children can survive and get out of Gaza as soon as possible. Gaza is a very dangerous place😓💔.
