•get to know the plants and wildlife in your immediate area. Barnes and Noble sells illustrated guides to local plant and wildlife for 6.95.

•keep a journal documenting sighting of wildlife

•keep a collection of pressed local leaves and wild flowers

•spend time getting to know the trees in your area

•go for walks and hikes

•mix homemade tea

•keep a potted herb garden

•always ask a plant or tree permission before removing something from it or its general area. Always remember to say thank you and share energy as payment.
