I know the iconic scenes from Gen 5 are often N’s coronation, Ghetsis’ speech, the rising of N’s castle, Team Plasma’s attack on Opelucid, and the final confrontation between N and Ghetsis in Giant Chasm but like.

Begging on my knees.. for the scenes with the other characters, ESPECIALLY Cheren and Bianca, to be acknowledged.. they’re not as iconic as the ones above, yes, but they don’t have to be related to Team Plasma in any way to be considered important to BW..

Some scenes from BW that I think should! Be acknowledged more;

The BW protagonist receiving their first Pokemon with their childhood friends, their first steps towards Route 1 with Cheren and Bianca, and how it mirrors their “parting” in Route 10, just before the protagonist heads to Victory Road.

The Dreamyard scene with the protagonist and Bianca witnessing how Dream Mist works, particularly how it creates the illusion of Ghetsis to scare off the Team Plasma grunts.

The protagonist, Cheren, Bianca, Burgh, and Iris confronting the few Team Plasma grunts and sages in Castelia in an effort to take back Bianca’s Munna. (This incident happens before either of Cheren or Bianca’s character developments so it’s very important, since Cheren fully believes in his ideal of strength, and Bianca is fully unsure of herself here!)

The entire scene with Bianca and her father at Nimbasa City, and Elesa butting in and helping her out.

Alder and Cheren’s talk in Route 5, and how it kickstarts his character development.

The protagonist and Cheren meeting Zinzolin in Cold Storage, and how it mirrors Cheren meeting Zinzolin in the Plasma Frigate two years later, when the ship is docked near the PWT, where it used to be the Cold Storage.

The further I go, the more Cress and Dawn are steadily developing a rivalry in Catching Trains and it's tickling me pink

It's all based in her absolutely ROASTING him over the phone to Ingo and Emmet, which they play up at first but it becomes really fun for the to snark and bitch at each other (particularly Cress, who is almost never like that and enjoys letting his snippy side). And it is ON SIGHT for them. They will go straight for the jugular without delay.

Barry finds it HILARIOUS and will egg them on. Lucas thinks so as well but doesn't egg them on, instead trying to appear above it... while desperately hiding his laughter.

Chili and Cilan are EXTREMELY weirded out because Cress has NEVER been like this with anyone before. At first they're like 'Are... you good, bro?' 'Yeah I'm fine, why, what's up? ☺️' and eventually get with the program that this is just how Cress and Dawn do friendship.

Still messes with their head to see Cress dial his Bitchiness up to 11 on her.

Ingo's just happy she's making friends.
