i sorta hate when my fav songs get tiktoked (end of beginning- djo) because my interpretation of the song for the past year because of the title and him mentioning his sister was that it was about his rise to fame and how he can never go back to his life before. that every thing is different and it will never be the same, he’s started something and his life is different - END OF BEGINNING - but when he goes home, when he goes to places he knew before it all and sees the people who knew him BEFORE his fame, he remembers who he was and he’s still that but he’s more. and yeah the tiktok’s are about that but they’re making it so literal with “my chicago” and its like guys please☹️☹️☹️

the hate on Luther in season one actually makes me so mad thinking about, especially the whole “i was on the moon” hate. he wasn’t trying to tell five he knew what he was going through, it was the exact opposite. he was telling him, “hey i went through this thing that was way smaller than what you did and i barely survived it. i don’t know how you did that but i see you” THATS WHAT IT WAS. he wasn’t bringing up the moon just to do it, he was using it to tell him that he saw the strength he had to have to stay alive and fighting for 40+ years. anyway, what i’m trying to say is Luther was very complex and all of that was lost for what? because you guys didn’t understand him.
