The number of people talking about Bo-Katan needing a redemption arc is absolutely astounding. SHE ALREADY HAD ONE. She already owned her past sins. She already acknowledged her failures. She already rejected what Death Watch stood for. She already changed for the better. And no, she DID NOT accept the Darksaber because of her bloodlines or because of personal ambition or thirst for power or because she thought she deserved it. Stop listening to the damn Armorer about how Bo-Katan became Mand’alor - she wasn’t there, remember? She told you that. Go watch it for yourself.

Anyone who watched The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian but skipped Rebels is missing a huge chunk of the story. It would be like watching the Fellowship of the Ring and The Return of the King, but skipping The Two Towers. You’d probably be really surprised to find Gandalf was alive and wearing suddenly wearing white because you missed the most pivotal part of his story, where he is reborn into something so much greater than he was. That’s what you miss in Bo-Katan’s character arc if you skip Rebels.
