Honestly? It's tough. Hmm...writing the chapter on Paul's gender crisis was certainly a lot of fun and came from a personal place. Maria comes so natural to me, too. And Jen. Especially unhinged Jen - I get to release something primal with her.
I know I probably hype it up way too much, but the untitled Halloween Special really is one of my favourite chapters I've written so far. It has my absolute favourite Eleanor dialogs in the whole god damn story. I really enjoyed writing them. If the theme of Play Date is communication, and the theme of the Beach Episode is jealousy, then the theme of the Halloween Special is...catharsis?
