Save Youssef and Nour
This is Nour, a seven-year-old girl from Gaza. Before the genocide, she was like any other girl her age. Her first year of school was about to begin. She was excited; her parents had just bought her a brand-new backpack and she couldn't wait to show it off!
Just two weeks into her first school year, Israel launched its genocidal offensive on Gaza. Nour's education, along with her childhood, came to an abrupt end.
This is how Nour, and her brother Youssef (12), are living now:

Despite months of campaigning, Youssef and Nour's parents have only managed to raise a little over €7,000. With temperatures already dropping, they're increasingly worried about how they will survive another winter in Gaza. The tent they're living in leaks when it rains, and Salah, the father of the family, has been struggling to secure medicine for his epilepsy.
Initially, the family started the fundraiser with hopes of rebuilding. However, after multiple displacements and several near-death experiences, they’ve made the difficult decision to begin saving for an evacuation.
If you can, please consider donating so that Youssef and Nour may have some small semblance of security again!

Lmao they deleted it
mohammed iwais (verified) is still the sole provider for his 27 family members, including his siblings and their young kids. his sister is recovering from a quadcopter bullet wound; she's been able to start walking again, but this is still a very difficult time, especially since medicine is prohibitively expensive in gaza right now. on top of that, the whole family is bracing for the changing weather, which will add to their daily expenses just for survival.
they need roughly 7.3k USD to get to their next goal. remember to check the conversion rates! 10 USD = 103 SEK
donate
i am begging people to stick with mohammed @mohdiwais as his campaign continues. he can't afford for engagement to be dropping off when these donations are his sole way of supporting 27 family members. i don't even have the words to convey how terrifying it is for all of them to see hours, or days, stretching between donations.
they are being bombed constantly, they have no home or jobs to return to, their children are severely traumatised. all of them need food, winter weatherproofing, medicine. this isn't a game or a fun post; it's their lives.
i don't know why tumblr has seemingly decided to stop caring about this family overnight but it's terrifying me, too. please toss them a reblog at the very least, and donate what you can spare.
