Negan's Birthday isn't a day that someone was going to celebrate. But for Carl this is important, because Negan was the man who really cares about him. So Carl spent a lot of time to find him a really nice gift, not shitty trash. In one of the abandoned houses Carl found a bottle of perfume, the smell of which was spicy, woody, strong and persistent as natural smell of Negan was.

Negan did not say anything, just patted Carl on the head and left. But Carl was pleased, because he knew this gesture. He saw Negan's face and the warmth in his eyes. He knew everything that Negan wanted to say.

"Should I say happy birthday?" asked Carl shyly.

"Please kid without this "we're friends" shit," rolled his eyes Negan.

Carl smiled and nodded.

"As you wish, birthday man."

"Oh damn, you talked too much with me."

Nigan gave Carl big hug, kissed him on the forehead, and buried fingers in his soft hair. Carl hugged him too and mumbled something sweet.
