What is this about?

"Whereas:

The world is becoming increasingly hostile to transgender and nonbinary individuals;

Transgender and nonbinary people's rights to live as themselves are being restricted and removed in many places;

This includes the so-called "Western democracies" which have historically been presumed safe;

The United Kingdom is revising their Equality Act to exclude trans people from its protections;

More than a dozen American states have enacted or are considering legislation eliminating or criminalizing gender-affirming care; and

Canada has prided itself on being an inclusive, tolerant, and welcoming society for everyone regardless of gender identity or gender expression.

We, the undersigned, residents of Canada, call upon the House of Commons to extend to transgender and nonbinary people the right to claim asylum in Canada by reason of eliminationist laws in their home countries, whatever country that may be."

It's better to give people an exit plan, and just hope they won't need it, then to do nothing and assume they'll be fine. Help us keep making Canada a positive place for everyone. I just wanna say as a aspiring animation director/writer, and someone who graduated with a degree in animation, is Chicanx and Bi. Shows like The Owl House are important now more than ever with it's unapologetic queerness, POC representation, and embracing people who are considered "weird" or "different." And for breaking the norms when it comes to storytelling tropes. Things have been rough in the animation industry. This show has been a light for me, to why I majored in Animation in the first place. I am hopeful that things change for the better. And maybe one day I tell a story that touches people's hearts like The Owl House. Thank you to Dana Terrance, animators, voice actors, and to anyone else involved no matter how big or small the role. For putting everything into this show. I will be watching and dreaming. 🦉🌠🌌

belos is the most villain of all time. i’m obsessed. who is doing it like that guy. “upstanding christian man” who becomes so twisted by delusions of grandeur that he becomes the literal devil and he still thinks he’s the good guy. he possessed the corpse of a god. he is made of goo. he carved and scarified magical glyphs into his own body. he bit raine. when he was defeated he tried to lie his way out of the loss by pretending the power of friendship saved him and then proceeded to get curb-stomped to death by an amputee, a non-binary band geek, and a raccoon. what a fucking mad lad

Ok so I know how a lot of people believe that Luz’s palisman will be a bat, and there are a few points in the show that seems to hint towards that but what if it’s a snake?

I feel like it would make sense with the swirling egg shape that her palisman is currently in and it could make sense because snakes hatch from eggs.

Luz was show at the very beginning of the show with a lot of snakes and I felt like maybe this picture of young her in a snake shirt could be a hint towards it as well. Snakes kind of go with the witch aesthetic too I guess. I might just be overanalyzing but it just an idea that struck me yesterday. The show does have a thing with animals that hissss.
