FremiMay Day 20: Liyue

This is related to a previous FremiMay post where I made an entire au with lore.

In that post I made a very brief mention of how I think Freminet's idol after escaping the Fatui would be Chongyun. They have similar personalities but in this au Freminet would see Chongyun as someone he wants to be as strong and kind as. Freminet doesn't have to worry about accidentally hurting Chongyun because cryo is one of the only things that can actually stop Freminet when he's feral.(So their relationship is similar to the Collei/Amber kind)

But for the Liyue prompt I decided to do the OTP(Xingyun) with the experiment au Freminet. Fremi is just taking a nap.

I gave a very brief color just to have identifiers of who is who.

I'll likely spruce it up and actually make it look more than a sketch sometime-- but like I've said previously. The purpose of these daily challenges is for me to get confident in sharing my art. And sometimes getting the art out is way more important than making something perfect.

FremiMay Day 19: Mondstadt

This is somewhat related to the Anemo Freminet au I came up with. Just cuz Fremi interacts with Wisp Barbatos and not Venti as a person.

Freminet loves stories. He remembers when he was younger he was always eager to consume as much folklore as possible. He loved to hear about the dragons of the lands and the talking animals that always happened to be the protagonists of stories. So now that he's a bit older he passes his love for stories onto those younger than him.(And anyone who will read)

I personally think that Freminet would be amazing at reading out loud. Mainly cuz kids could find his voice soothing.

I've been keeping up with the doodles but I'm not really that happy with all of them. Anxiety goes WHAM! Y'know?

I'll probably do one big post of the arts I'm happy with. I probably failed the challenge XP But I learned a lot!

Sorry for the lack of FremiMay posts! I've been keeping up with the art but for some reason my anxiety is making it hard to post the art. X/

Of course, the reason I started doing FremiMay was to get over my anxiety of posting online. And also sharing my art. But right now the thought of posting my art is just... Aaaaaa!

So y'all will likely get a massive amount of posts from all of the days I'm missing whenever I feel better enough to make an actual art post.

In the meantime I am still running @nahidasgarden if you wanna do genshin interactions :P

@friends-for-freminet recently had an ark on their ask blog where Freminet visited Sumeru and proceeded to panic the entire time about being found out as part of the Fatui.

It's a very messy doodle and I apologize for that lolol

Friends for Freminet is my favorite ask blog and there's just a certain goofiness with the poor boy having a panic attack while the entire Sumeru cast is rushing to be his friend and welcoming him into their nation.

I think Fremi is a lot like Yi Sang. A quiet personality that is easily pressured and used for their intelligence and tinkering prowess. They feel as if everything they could possibly create or help with can be used to hurt others and it leads to them forcing themselves into inaction. They don't see their own wings, they are stuck watching people who are better than them. They idolize someone who they are unable to become.

I love the cutscene, the song for Yi Sang is also perfect for Freminet.

Man I was gonna make more but I don't have transparents of the icons and my phone turns transparent backgrounds into black backgrounds so I have to edit each icon. So instead you get two. Until I can find a way to do transparents.
