ah. seems the special interest i've now had for 23 months, the only one that still consumes a portion of my mind at all times, just turned six today, and not a single one of the several lists I have to keep track of such anniversaries bothered to warn me of this early enough that I could actually draw something for it in time

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HK. I WILL TRY TO DRAW SOMETHING FOR YOU BUT I HAVE A BUNCH OF OTHER STUFF GOING ON!!! it's something dear to my heart...played it two years ago and i still like it a lot!! it's stuck with me is what i guess i mean peridots-nonsense hollow knight that should be all but it's not. ough. hk is one of those games i wish i could play for the first time again... it was such a wonderful experience and i still love its characters so much... don't post about it much anymore considering how many other fandoms/worlds i have to draw for now but yeah it's also what gave me my love for bugs!!! and that's such an integral part of me now that i can't imagine what would've happened had i never played it. (spoiler alert i actually would've played bug fables instead! it was an interesting thing to learn that so many hk fans liked bf too. i learned of bftes first because my mom pointed it out (once again this was before i even liked arthropods!! coincidences!!) but i ended up buying hk months before bf because my best friend (and now partner...) liked it) lol it's only Technically feb24 in my time zone i just have a bad sleep schedule. i still have time but art's a long process for me anyway. goodbye dear tag-wanderer! you should play hollow knight if you're not already here for that :] WAIT I ALSO GOTTA WATCH THE JAYROCK/N STREAM TODAY...slash tomorrow but yk

peridots-art bots others ocs izzy mieczmaszyna gotta admit doing all the shading here was. very fun. insert medic hoo noise i don't know if people usually read these but @ the intended recipient of this post! if you are!! i remember first liking your art a year ago (actually only about a week off now lol) when it crossed my dash for the first (/only) time and then found it again whilst enjoying the funky robot dudes (yesm/p03) and their respective games and I fell in Love with your style i also was always enthused by the number of my fixations that you also liked! fnv! insc! ultkll! tf2 and hylics which i've never played! and then there's hk which has been my most prominent special interest for close to two years so. safe to say that was. AWESOME to see ALSO ALSO!! i think we may be like. mutuals-in-law*2?? by which i mean one of my two closest friends on this site (holly) is mutuals with a cool artist (sodapop) who i learned by accident that you've sent asks to before. either way it's cool :] reserving the caption 'robot cowboys my beloved' for the future cause there are too many! victor and p03 and my own guy atoya and now this? it is a wonderful problem. anyway i'm also looking at P3RI and realizing how many traits they and izzy share by accident lol think. that should be all the tags (see: incoherent rambling). really like your stuff and have been meaning to draw something for you for a while just got nervous 👍

figured out you can't edit even the tags on polls so whatever nonsense i decide to leave here is stuck with me forever thought about having more options but hey a simple dichtonomy is all that's required i guess spoiler alert i am either the guy who does this or the guy who thinks it's absurd and you are not allowed to know which ...did i really need to make this? no. the aforementioned absurdity may lead this to become one of my top posts on tumblr or to become something fifteen people unfollow me for who knows. perhaps that's just the nature of man peridots-nonsense i also don't think i've ever deleted a single post of mine so in the case of the latter i'm still not getting rid of this <3

peridots-reblogs swordsmachine ultrakill gabriel ultrakill v1 ultrakill Ultrakill madness combat < kind of. it is a fandom i'm not in but i saw one post about it like a month ago and thought it was cool anyway!! swordsmachine my friend swordsmachine!! i love it so much also enjoy the way you draw gabe's helmet... like a laurel wreath and the colors!!! pale and not particularly complex but they look so neat... the way you utilize the linework for small details is so cool um. think that's all. i did say i'd elaborate on the speaking-in-tags thing but i don't think i have much more to say just i think you're very cool and am glad you enjoyed the thing i made and the things i've said okey bye right also bots mieczmaszyna < feb 28 decided my mutuals get tags :]
