Heya, I'm Peridots (any pronouns, they/it works fine)! Your average digital artist/entomology enthusiast! This is partly an art blog, but be prepared for occasional Bug Facts and other such randomness. Spam likes and all other positive interactions are appreciated here! Terfs, zionists and the like aren't allowed within about a hundred feet of my blog, however! Mildly, Just Ever So Slightly, Belated Art Fight Attacks Of The Season!! Feat. @skyistheground @smangethe

One neuronpup is held gently in the cupped hands of Paradox, as the iterator gives it a kind look.
A headshot of Paradox, to accompany the previous image. They stare into the camera in a way perhaps described as blankly curious, though it's hard to express this with eyes alone. Their black carapace is accented by gray earpieces, golden jewelry and simple constellations painted a variety of colors, upper body covered by a yellow-orange cloak. Six wires radiate outward from just behind their head. A neuronpup curls itself across her shoulders, and under its head Paradox rests one hand in comfort. This image is notably more pink, and the plain background is shaded by the glow of the pup.
A drawing of Sisyphus Prime and Minos Prime from Ultrakill as Rain World slugcats, with designs by Smangethe and Hrokkall respectively. The two circle each other hand-in-hand, counterclockwise, Minos's front and Sisyphus's back facing the camera, tilted in a way that both are nonetheless in plain view. Minos's other arm is bent away in an almost-shrug and Sisyphus's free hand is at his chest, small centipedes snake their way up Minos's arms and one twines together the hands of both slugcats.
Another headshot, this time halved with Sisyphus on the left and Minos to the right. While their regular designs are faithful to the simplicity of canon slugcats, OP has shunted in their own interpretations: their ears are lamellate and annulate rhinophores, respectively, with a frilly mantle on either side of their dewlapped necks. Sisyphus's visible eye resembles that of a cephalopod.
Two Ultrakill fancharacters belonging to Woofolotl/Onlineviolence, the angel Yuriel and streetcleaner Pyrite. Yuriel, to be specific, has navy blue armor emblazoned with white and gold, and similarly Pyrite's chassis is uniquely black and flecked with gold sand. It is unclear as to whether there's a surface or plain air beneath the two, the background bright blue and cloudy, as Pyrite leaps down excitedly and open-armed into Yuriel's embrace. The closest thing to emotional expression in the image lies in the delighted colors of Yuriel's curled wings.
An image of Yuriel and Pyrite neck-up, the machine held to her side with a single angelic arm. Yuriel turns her head just slightly to look over at it, pyre's shoulders hunched a bit awkwardly forward what with the position she's held in.
A halfbody of Kyle, an entirely original oc belonging to sophisticated-apple. He's the only human of the bunch, with brown skin, dark hair and prominent vitiligo. The simplistic background depicts vague bushes and city lights, the shading being similarly dark. He wears a gray beanie, green hoodie, black glasses, and a nervous expression composed of a smile and a glance to the side. He's holding a mug with the slightly-obscured printed text "Ask me about my cryptid obsession", and he tilts the mug a little to point with it.
Finally, not a headshot. The artist was rushing and only provided a generalization of the background of the previous piece.

happy one year old russian roulette gabriel fancam friday!!! :] peridots-reblogs gabriel ultrakill Ultrakill this goes in that category of “first uk stuff ive ever seen” but in this case it's actually “one of the first seen after *playing* uk for the first time“! i first watched it like the day after my sibling and i played it in turns on their account and kept bothering my family with it. this also introduced me (+ unfortunately said sibling) to the existence of the official body pillows. my mom likes this song anyways so i'd put the number of rewatches somewhere in the dozens! and unrelated but op if you read this if your mdkv1 stuff has 100 fans im one of them if it has one fan that's me. which i'm saying particularly since i've not reblogged any yet but i DO adore it so if you ever feel like you've been posting too much of them just know i think they (and your art as a whole)'re nice :]
