Laurent having no one to trust. And having to constantly look over his shoulder and be ten steps ahead of everyone else. Constantly trying to find double meanings in words. And then he meets Damen. Damen who is nothing like he expected. 😫😫 Damen who is honest and trustworthy. Whose loyalty is astounding. And he says what he means and he makes Laurent feel safe and protected and happy. 😭😭😭😭

Laurent does a lot of gasping and Damen does a lot of growling.
