damen just lifting laurent up, without even a grunt of effort.  laurent gasping in surprise, arms throwing themselves around damen’s neck, clenching all those riding muscles against damen’s hips.  except he doesn’t even have to do that, because damen is holding him up by the waist entirely effortless.  laurent stuttering for a moment before saying “oh my god, put me down,” and damen just grinning and tipping him backwards on the bed.

in my humble onion Laurent is gay and feels sexual attraction, but like, he’s also a trauma baby. i relate to Laurent on a deep level but that doesn’t mean people who are ace can’t either, it’s ok to have two different interpretations.

I'm about to reread Captive Prince for the second time. I have water and food beside me. And I am most certainly not making incoherent noises because I'm so excited.
