So many times I have heard this phrase from Swifties defending Matty. Or “it’s just brit humor” or “it’s his dark humor” or “he was being ironic/sarcastic” or “he’s just being edgy” or “he didn’t mean it” or “it’s taken out of context” or you’re just being “woke” or “woke points”. I was this close to telling them that babe, maybe listen to your lines cause you know who you sound like? MAGAs defending Trump. (i know this is mean but i really can’t help but think) the apple doesn’t fall far from tree cause this swifities, who are probably rich and white, who claim to not be racists and are “allies” are defending and doing all the mental gymnastics to defend matty with the same talking points their republicans parents used to defend trump. Not saying matty is as bas as trump but shit, it’s a slippery slope. They even have the same mentality of “if not with us then you’re against us” by telling poc fans to unstan. I guess other fandoms were correct, Swifties are the MAGAs like shit we even have our flavor of q-anon with the gaylors.

They can say whatever they want about people who are rightfully critical or just despise racist b@stard like him. What's wrong is wrong. There's no in between or excuse for rancid behavior. PERIODT.

Do you like Sakura? I saw some of your posts saying that you like her but then in others you are critical of her fandom.

Both of them are true. I like Sakura–although she was a bit poorly written, I sympathise with her. She's not my baby, but yeah I would protect her from haters. I also tend to draw her more because I love her aesthetic. There are moments where I can't stand her, especially when her fans compare her with Hinata. I hate the Boruto version of her(and Hinata, to a degree), but then again I don't like anything about that show🤷🏽‍♀️. I also like the "blooming into a beautiful cherry blossom" theme that was more or less present in her arc. I like the idea of a shallow insecure girl finding her strengths and becoming a better person. I wish it was handled better, but nevertheless I like her character. I hate her fandom because... well duh.

Why is every goddamn time I see someone who doesn't like the last always happens to say something along the lines of "nAruHinA doesn't make sense" I didn't like the movie very much but it has NOTHING to do with me shipping or not shipping naruhina 🙄
