By Any Chance Do You Know The Full Dick Wolf Series Timeline Because I Use Your List And I Notice That
By any chance do you know the Full Dick Wolf series timeline because i use your list and i notice that Fbi is a part of the Chicago One timeline and Fbi: Most Wanted is a part of Fbi meaning Fbi: Most Wanted is a part of the Chicago One timeline and Law & Order: SVU is part of the timeline meaning all the other Law & Order shows must be in the same timeline so in the Chicago One timeline and Law & Order have crossovers with Homicide and Conviction and so on. Sorry for being a pain in the ass!
Hello anon and thanks for your question! I think it’s been sitting in my inbox for a while now, I’m sorry!! You’re no pain in the ass don’t worry; you’re always welcome here! :)
Unfortunately no, I don’t know the full timeline of all the Chicago, FBI, Law & Order and Homicide Convention shows together. There are a few reasons why my timeline only fully includes the Chicago shows, and only has the episodes from the other shows that cross over.
Like you just listed, these are a LOT of shows, and even more so A LOT of episodes. By including everything, the timeline would just be massive. I think it would be too much information, and people who don’t watch like the 10 shows would get confused/lost.
I’m also wondering if including everything would be relevant. My goal with this timeline is to provide a simple and clear watch order to understand the plot of the Chicago shows. If your fave appears in another show, you would know with this list. So the main focus are on the Chicago shows, what happens in the city of Chicago.
Last but not least, I currently only watch Chicago Med and Chicago PD. I’ll start watching Chicago Fire at some point again (and Chicago Justice which I avoided like plague), for the sake of ordering my list. Point is, I never watched FBI, L&O or Homicide Convention, so I wouldn’t know how to include them into my list unless I watch them. Which is out of question for me. Four shows, that I’ve been watching for all nine years, are already a lot for me! All I can do without knowing the plot, is add episodes by air date.
Of course I know for someone watching Law & Order and/or FBI, it could be fun to follow a list, to watch the events unfold chronologically, even if the characters never interact with people from other shows (...except like for 1 or 2 episodes). You’re not the first one asking me for a full list, so maybe I could duplicate my list, add all the other Dick Wolf shows by air date and let contributors order it as they see fit. I don’t know. I think that’s the best I can do, ‘cause I wouldn’t know how to order non-Chicago shows.
If anyone’s interested, let me know!
Thanks again for the question! Stay safe! :)

In PD S3 E5, Capp and Cruz were never in the episode. Boden was however and the older african american woman that rund the ER in Chicago Med. I don't know her name yet.
Hello anon! Thanks for pointing this out!
That’s strange though. I watched this episode pretty recently, and I vividly remember replacing Boden and Goodwin with Capp and Cruz. I wondered why anon told me Boden and Goodwin were there, when they were not. But now a second person tells me they’re there. I’ll go rewatch the episode to make sure. Just so we’re on the same page; it’s Chicago PD - S03E05 - Climbing Into Bed right?
Thank you for telling me, I’ll go investigate! :) Stay safe!
Do you have a spreadsheet for Grey's Anatomy and all of its crossover shows? The Chicago one is FANTASTIC!!
Hi anon!! Thank you so much, I work hard to build that list! The community helps a whole lot too!! :)
Sorry though, I don’t have a list for Grey’s Anatomy, I have no idea what that show is :P I know nothing about it, and probably the other crossover shows too, so I’m not qualified at all to make a list for it!
Until next time! :) Stay safe!
Chicago PD S1E3 can't follow Fire S2E13 because of different weather. Showing in fire
Hi observant anon! Thanks for the ask!
You sure have a keen eye on the set! I too found it pretty weird how Fire S02E13 was caught in a blizzard, then PD S01E03 the unit go running around Chicago in shirts and stuff. However these episodes are part of the same plotline, so they needed to stay close.
I tried ordering the best I could already, but PD S01E03 has to be right before Fire S02E14. I took note of this discrepancy in my spreadsheet: In PD E03, someone (spoiler) has been missing for 16 hours, and in Fire E14, it’s mentioned it’s now been a day and a half.
There’s only so much I can do in this case unfortunately… When reordering the shows, I decided that following the plotline was most important.
Thanks for sharing your findings with me!! :) Stay safe! 💚
Where do you watch all of these? I missed them all on tv
Hi anon!
I’ve received this ask a couple of times and I’m sorry to say I’m not much help unfortunately. I bought all seasons on DVD, which I do not recommend if you intend to watch all four Chicago shows in order… unless you like juggling DVDs. I’m far from an expert on streaming, but a couple of sources online could be:
YouTube [all Chicago, SVU S06+]
Amazon Prime Video [all shows]
IMDb
NBC App
Global TV App
Like I said in a previous post, I have other ways to get it, but I recommend buying the shows unless it’s not affordable or you really can’t find it anywhere. If that’s the case, DM me :)
Hope you found some ways to watch the episodes by now, I replied kinda late, sorry!
Stay safe anon!
I was wondering. The timeliness listed on the website is different than the Excel spreadsheet. We are on Season 4 of Fire, 3 of PD and 1 of Med and we don't know whether to go by the website or the spreadsheet. They are both very different. Thanks
Hello anon! I’m so sorry for the confusion!!
To put it simply, follow the spreadsheet first. It’s clearer, with colors and stuff, and always more up-to-date.
For the long answer, I initially started this list by myself following the air dates, and posted it here on my Photoshop blog. However, people left me comments when they watched the episodes that made me realize the ordering should follow plotline over air dates. Thus began my rewatch to order them properly.
So here’s the difference between the two lists:
On the spreadsheet, when someone suggests to reorder an episode, I do a quick check on the Internet, then move it as suggested (I’m usually pretty fast). So the spreadsheet is ordered by the watchers and I. It’s mostly them though, as everyone can pretty much see how slow of a binge-watcher I am :P
On my blog, well... this is still my personal blog, I’m stubborn enough to display only the changes I personally verified. So this list still follow the air dates, and progressively (but very slowly) becomes the same as the spreadsheet as I rewatch the episodes and confirm the ordering made by the community. I know, kinda pointless; they’ve always been right so far!
So spreadsheet it is! Thanks for your question! I was afraid someone would get confused, I should put it in the intro of my timeline, not at the end…!
Stay safe! 💚
