I love this and it makes me cry and happy at the same time!! For reasons I won't explicitly say here.. but just know I'm happily sad!! Ahhh!!!

"only wanna be with you" - ways of subtley showing love

prompt list by @novelbear

being able to lay on them comfortably no matter the position.

feeding them snacks from over your shoulder

playing. with. their. hair.

"text me when you get home."

unconsciously smiling whenever they smile

letting them have a bite of food you're preparing

^ then doing that thing where you're holding your hand under their chin just in case something falls/drips :(((

making a big deal out of any dish they make for you, eating every last bite.

breakfast in bed.

"you look gorgeous. stunning. jaw-dropping. breathtaking. do you see what i'm trying to get at?"

holding hands while walking

when others can tell you're in love (or really care abt one another) just from the way you stare at each other

helping fix/adjust their clothes a little before they leave

sending each other little selfies or pictures throughout the day when they're apart

being able to sit/work in a comfortable silence

napping together

taking their hand and slowly guiding them to the other side of the sidewalk (away from the road)

"have you eaten today?"

massages whenever they seem stressed

that little panicked reach for them (ready to catch them at all costs) if they trip ever so slightly

hugs from behind and gentle kisses on the shoulder >>>

"i've got this, you go rest."

wiping crumbs (or whatever's left of what they may be eating) from the corners of their mouth

random "i love you"s just for the reminder

I love this too much

bat opens up their little bat wallet to find they are all out of moths. A worthless $100 bill flies out for emphasis

Ok, so this only happens when it's a nightmare about someone I know:

But I tend to be a clingy person and worry so I end up annoying them by calling them 4 different times when I wake up from one, to check make sure they're ok...

Strangely enough, there were two different times with two different friends that they weren't feeling that great and I was able to calm them down those nights. Which in turn helped me as well.

things people do after having a nightmare that isn’t crying

struggle to catch their breath

grab onto whatever’s close enough to ground themselves in reality

become nauseous / vomit

shake uncontrollably

sweat buckets

get a headache

things people do to combat having nightmares if they occur commonly

sleep near other people so they can hear the idle sounds of them completing tasks

move to a different sleeping spot than where they had the nightmare

leave tvs / radios / phones on with noise

just not sleep (if you want to go the insomnia route)

sleep during the day in bright rooms

things people with insomnia do

first, obviously, their ability to remember things and their coordination will go out the window

its likely they’ll become irritable or overly emotional

their body will start to ache, shake, and weaken

hallucinate if it’s been long enough

it becomes incredibly easy for them to get sick (and they probably will)
